Cortijo Blanquillo is a large, restored traditional farmhouse in olive groves in unspoilt Andalucia. It is a perfect relaxing retreat or an excellent base for new adventures. The gardens have plenty of shaded areas and fruit trees and the casa has an enclosed courtyard with a splash pool;ideal for kids big and small! Nearby you can wander through white-washed villages or enjoy long campo walks on the many nearby rutas. For day trips you can choose Granada, Priego de Cordoba or Malaga...
This large cortijo is perfect for families or groups of friends. We have lovingly restored it, keeping many traditional features but modernising where needed. It is a perfect place to escape it all and relax in the many gorgeous little spots in the courtyard, house or garden.
If you like to explore you can visit little hill top villages, castles, churches or cave houses or just simply wander through the olives trees.
Loja is the nearest town and very traditional;Granada is the nearest city and more beautiful than any pictures. The coast is about one hour, 30 minutes away if the beach is calling.

I have two gorgeous, funny and energetic kids (aged 5&6) who love travelling . We, my partner, Billy of 23 years ( how did that happen?) have spent years lovingly restoring these places.
We live in Glasgow and have rented out on Airbnb to many travellers from all over the world.
I love theatre and I work as a producer in Scotland and around the world. I really enjoy it and it is a privilege to work with so many talented people. How stories bring people together and hopefully make us more tolerant and informed human being is what makes me happy to get to work.
