Cosy country cottage with a modern feel, positioned within the Northumberland National Park with uninterrupted country views, very private, not overlooked ( even by ourselves who live next door). Wonderful spot for walking, cycling, wildlife, dark Skies, and just enjoying the quiet, peaceful and beautiful countryside.
Our Cottage is located within The Northumberland National Park, renowned for its natural beauty, wildlife and dark skies. If you're lucky you may see Red Squirrels, Deer, Birds of Prey, Birds and a whole host of other wildlife right here from the property.
We are near the local town of Rothbury, and also Wallington Hall, Cragside House and Kielder.
A 40minute drive will bring you to Northumberlands golden sand beaches and castles.

The Cottage has its own private gravel patio, and off road parking for two cars, but guests are welcome to use our very large garden, (most of the garden is not over looked by us) which is shared with our own home next door.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I will be there to welcome you to our cottage, if for any reason I can't, then a key will be left, I will be available if you so wish for any queries, questions or information.
We are not on a bus route, so you will probably need a car if you are not cycling.
We do have wifi, but there is no mobile phone reception.
The second bedroom is small and has a small double bed (4ft).
We welcome dogs, only by prior arrangement. but they will need to be on a lead in the garden, due to our free range hens.
There is a door from the lounge which connects our two cottages, but this is a double fire door which is sealed on both sides and locked. so there is no noise (or very little) transference.
Please remove outdoor foot ware at the Kitchen door.
Please keep the gate to the road closed at all times, our hens have no road sense, thanks.
