Welcome! This is a comfortable two-bedroom apartment close to central Edinburgh. No frills, no gimmicks - it's clean, tidy, and everything works.
You'll be staying in a Victorian tenement-style building, traditional to Edinburgh.
The location is ideal: close to Haymarket station (for trains) and Haymarket tram stop (for bus and tram connections from the airport). Once you've arrived and settled in, it's just a short hop on foot or by tram to all the sights of central Edinburgh and the Fringe.
The place belongs to my sister, a nurse working on an island in the Outer Hebrides for the summer. So it feels like a home - one that's been properly cleaned and tidied for your stay, of course - and you aren't giving money to an agency or anything like that.

I've lived in Edinburgh for several years as well, so if you need it I can give you plenty of advice about what to see and do. But I won't be on top of you, as I live across town, and you can drop the keys into a key box when you leave so you don't have to worry about logistics on that end.
Getting here is easy: the Edinburgh Trams line from the airport has a stop at Haymarket, which as mentioned above is a seven-minute walk away. The Airlink bus stops at Haymarket train station. If your train goes to Edinburgh Waverley without a stop at Haymarket, just get the tram west from St Andrew Square. Parking immediately outside the flat is pay and display, as we're so close to central Edinburgh. Past guests have either left the car outside the restricted zone, which ends a few streets west, or used private car parks such as the one on Distillery Lane by Haymarket station (£11 per day).
