Newly renovated i 2017, this cosy cabin in Undredal Valley, is a five minute drive from Flåm. Suitable for up to 4 people, this cabin is perfect for hikers, and sporty families who want an close-to-nature experience. You will have fresh air, fjords, waterfalls, and meet curious, friendly goats. Situated in proximity to the bus to both Bergen and Voss, the tourist-and hiking opportunities are virtually endless. The bathroom and kitchen are all new in 2017. Velkommen til fjells! :)
As stated, this place is unique for its central, but secluded location. Undredal valley, or "Wonder Valley" as it translates to, is 5 mins drive away from tourist hotspot Flåm, and the bus to Bergen and Voss is also close by. Undredal of course hosts Northern Europes smallest church, the little lady is the pride of the village, Undredal. This charming little village by the fjord is also home to world famous white goat cheese, but did you know that Undredal village and UNESCO World heritage site Nærøyfjord was an inspiration for several movies and tv-shows, like Disneys "Frozen", and HBOs "Vikings". But the nicest thing about has to be the unique nature, and surroundings. This newly renovated cabin is located 15 metres from The Norwegian trekking Associations official route on to the mountains of the fjord. Famous sites like "Aurlandsdalen", "Rallarvegen" and "Stegastein" are well-known must-sees close by, the possibilities for sightseeing are innumerable. We recommend rib-tours of the fjord located in Flåm, kayaking, a visit to renowned Ægir Viking Brewery and the mountain railway "Flåmsbana".
About the cabin, there is a new and house-like standard, with a new balcony, new windows, new kitchen and new bathroom, all from 2017. The cabin comfortably hosts 4 people.
Welcome to the mountains.

Let me know if I can assist you, thank your for your interest.
It can get rainy, windy and slippery, you will need mountain boots and
a windbreaker jacket.
This cabin is a part of a "støl". That means a goat-cheese cooperative, and the goats are milked in a near-by house. That is why guests are obliged to use the parking spot showed in the photo, not park by the house.
Free goats live in the upper Undredal valley, where the cabin is located. Some times you will see hundreds of them. They are not dangerous, and love to say hi to humans. Small children may be a bit scared of them, and they make small, round, "pearls" on the ground. If you have mountain boots, enjoy extraordinary nature, and can deal with goats and "pearls", this is the place for you.
Please take off your shoes indoors, leave the place as you found it. Best regards
