Lakeview, one of Chicago’s most desirable and safe neighborhoods, offers endless options for shopping, dining, recreation, nightlife, and sightseeing – most of which are walking distance or as close as 500’ to this appealing apartment! Located on the first street west of Southport Rd., the Starbuck’s is only a 90 second walk out the front door. Southport boasts some of the newest and most popular restaurants, boutiques, and slightly larger retail options as well (Anthropologie, Lulu Lemon, Whole Foods, Jewel), yet still retains its quiet neighborhood charm. Wrigley Field is 5 blocks away, and for the more ambitious visitor the beautiful lakeshore running trail is a ten minute jog away.

What an awesome weekend. The apartment was perfect! More than I expected. Though I don't get to meet Steve,he made check in easy. Apartment was clean and everything we needed was available. We spent the weekend there so we could go to Cubs games. Within walking distance of park, bars and restaurants and having the garage to park the car was an added touch. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Steve's place was even better than advertised. The two bedrooms were really spacious and it was so nice to have two bathrooms. The living room, dining room, kitchen and porch were all awesome and larger than the photos looked, too. Not to mention off street parking was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is exactly what you want in Chicago. It's nearby many things but on a quiet street. It's an easy L ride downtown or to the airport and Uber's downtown about about twenty bucks. Steve was easy to communicate with and has a super detailed house manual. He even went above and beyond by offering to ship me my (expensive) noise machine that I accidentally left behind. Thanks, Steve!

Steve was everything you could ever want in a host and more. On arrival, I spoke with Steve and went over the basics of the apartment, which was gorgeously adorned and extremely contemporary (which was so refreshing considering the buildings in the area are almost 100 years old!). Steve created a manual and placards containing answers for every question one could possibly have during the stay - how to use the electronics, surround sound, even recommendations on night life and places to eat. The icing on the cake was the touch of personality the entire apartment possesses in the form of custom cabinetry and crown molding throughout the entire apartment which Steve himself crafted and applied by hand. The stay was wonderful, comfortable and extremely accommodating. Would recommend Steve to anyone looking for a comfortable, cleanly, and fun stay in Chicago.
