Set in beautiful South Warwickshire on the edge of the Cotswolds, Peach Cottage is a modern, light and airy home-from-home, offering families and friends the perfect base for a walking, cycling, sight-seeing or simply relaxing holiday. Alternatively Peach Cottage is ideal for those seeking a longer stay and a place to work remotely during these uncertain times.
Well located on the edge of historic Whatcote village, Peach Cottage affords stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Peach Cottage can sleep up to six guests in three spacious bedrooms, all enjoying views to open countryside. This recently refurbished detached property with its log burning fire, offers comfort and tranquillity all year round. The large, self-contained, private garden adorned with a selection of fruit trees, provides a safe space for children to play, a place to spot local wildlife, an area for outdoor eating and ample room to chill. There is also off-road parking for up to four cars and a secure place to store golf-clubs/bikes.

•Spacious lounge with comfy seating set around the fireplace, dining room table with seating for six guests (that could also double-up as a large work space for anyone looking to work from home during a longer stay), television and DVD player for guest entertainment. Selection of games and puzzles for the younger guests.
•Bright kitchen fully equipped for self-catering with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a circular glass table with four stylish bar stools where guests can sit and chat whilst keeping the cook company.
•Utility room with fridge/freezer and washing machine. An ideal place to kick off your boots when returning from a hearty walk.
•Cloak room with WC and hand basin.
•Entrance porch and hallway with space to hang coats and store shoes. Stairs leading to first floor.

•Bedroom one with king-sized iron bed, fashionable furniture including wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Views to the church tower, old rectory and beautiful open countryside.
•Bedroom two with comfortable king-sized bed, built-in wardrobe and bedside chests of drawers. Stunning views to Hell Brake Woods and surrounding countryside.
•Bedroom three with two single beds that can easily be pushed together to form one double. Wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Spectacular views to the west, ideal for watching the sunset over the rolling hills.
•Recently refurbished bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin.

There is a great selection of walks on your doorstep including Macmillan’s Way, Centenary Way and Shakespeare’s Way, along with miles of beautiful, quiet, cycle-friendly country lanes, making this the perfect location for those seeking a healthy, active holiday. Golfers, fishermen and horse racing enthusiasts will similarly be spoilt for choice.

Complimentary WiFi internet access available. Prices include bed linen, heating, electricity and towels. A basket of complementary logs for the fire will be made available on arrival and further logs can be purchased from the owner for a small fee. Sorry but no dogs, contractors or tradesmen and strictly no smoking.

Special Events: Christmas, New Year and the Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival are examples of special events, with bookings typically limited to weeks only from a specific start day - please check with Carl and Dawn.

Carl and Dawn’s home is located in the small parish of Whatcote, which featured in the Domesday Book and boasts the recently renovated and extremely popular Royal Oak Inn, said to be a hiding place for King Charles during the Civil War. With its fine cuisine and great selection of changing ales this is a must for all guests.

Peach Cottage provides an excellent base to explore the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the pretty market town of Shipston-on-Stour just 5 miles away and the honey coloured villages and historic towns of Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water all within a 30 minute drive. Travel 10 miles north-west and you find yourself in Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, with its history, theatres, river activities and shopping. Other attractions within easy reach are Oxford, the ‘city of dreaming spires’, Cheltenham, the home of the famous ‘Gold Cup’ horse race, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Bicester Village designer shopping outlet.
