Le logement
Apartment 55 in an excellent location. Just a few minutes walk to the famous Four Mile Beach, and a little further to The Marina and Macrossan St, the heart of Port Douglas, with vibrant cafes, shops, entertainment and fine dining.

But The Reef Club is still far enough away from the town to appreciate the tropical atmosphere and quiet surroundings. This apartment looks out over the landscaped gardens with the BBQ area and pool. Also on the top floor of a low-rise means no noisy neighbours above.

The stylish apartment is freshly redecorated with a cool, tropical vibe. Two seperate bedrooms each opening onto a balcony, full bathroom with bath and shower and new kitchen with a cook-top, microwave and fridge. Free wi-fi and Netflix on the TV. Being privately owned and managed allows for excellent attention to detail.

Up to six guests can be accommodated. It has 2 bedrooms, the main has a king bed or two single beds if required. A queen bed in the second bedroom. Each bedroom opens onto a balcony. In the lounge room a fold-out sofa bed allows for 2 additional guests. We have a cot and high chair available on request.

Upon your arrival you will find professionally laundered bed linen. We provide each of our guests with bath and hand towels, face washers, bath mat, pool towels and tea towels. A complimentary bathroom amenities pack and tea, coffee and milk are also provided for your arrival together with dish-washing liquid, laundry powder and J cloth to start your stay. It is a self-service apartment so the room is made up on your arrival and you take over from there. A mid stay service can be arranged if required.

Downstairs in the landscaped gardens you will find a large covered BBQ area for guest use – a fabulous spot to enjoy the tropical scenery while you BBQ the days catch. The pool and spa are situated nearby set in landscaped gardens with shaded areas from the midday sun.

Downstairs you will find a large communal laundry with washing machines, dryers and a laundry tub. All machines take $1.00 coins. Undercover and off-street parking is available.

The apartment offers a less-expensive choice of holiday and is ideal for families, friends on a budget or simply a couple taking advantage of the low rates for a long-term booking.

I have another apartment on the same floor, Number 60. It's slightly smaller and very quiet. It can accommodate 5 guests in 2 bedrooms. Please send an enquiry if you wish to book both together at a discounted rate

Port Douglas Reef Club is in an excellent location. Stroll up the the fabulous Four Mile Beach for a morning coffee, in Summer stop for Yoga on the Beach on the way. Walk a little further and you will find Macrossan St with a great selection of cafes & shops and fine dining restaurants. The local hotels have live music, and even Cane Toad Racing. Visit the Sunday Market, the local museum, and the Marina has fabulous bars for afternoon and evening cocktails.

The Great Barrier Reef is on the doorstep and tour boats for Scuba diving or snorkelling or glass bottomed boats pick up from your front door and leave from the Marina daily. Take a smaller fishing boat trip if that's your choice.

If a sunset sail appeals there are a range of boat trips available, or get to meet the locals at the Port Douglas Yacht Club who offer visitors a twilight sail in exchange for having dinner at the Club.

Relax at the many day-spas nearby, who offer a range of beauty treatments and massage therapies.

Play a round of golf on the world class course at The Marina Mirage, a few
minutes down the road.

Take a tour to the ancient Daintree River and Rainforest stopping for a swim at the beautiful Mosman Gorge on the way. Go tree surfing on the trip and don't forget to look out for our local salt water crocodiles!

Hi, I'm Monica. Originally from the UK and now I live in Sydney. I work from home as an interior decorator and I love living in my City 'Horizon' townhouse apartment. And the CBD, shops, cafes and bars museums and art galleries are so close. Twice a week I sail from the CYC Yacht Club on Sydney Harbour, very close and home to the famous Sydney to Hobart annual yacht race. I love traveling and was so glad to find Airbnb - as a host it's an opportunity for me to rent out my Sydney apartment and take an extended holiday to see my family or new places. I also have a holiday apartment in Port Douglas, Tropical Far North Queensland which is also open to Airbnb guests. I've been holidaying in Port Douglas for 20 years. It has everything that I love, village atmosphere, great restaurants, resort shopping and tropical nights. It's the closest point The Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rain Forest and Cape Tribulation. Check it out on this site too, you'll love it.
