New apartment in the hip area of Zurich west, right in front of the lake. 3 mins walk to tram 13, 5 mins to tram 4 and 17. The building is less than 3 years old and the apartment is in perfect condition with branded furniture. We rent it out as a studio since the bedroom is closed to store our personal things. I am 1/4 Polish, 3/4 Chinese. I was born in Shanghai, moved to California when I was 13, and then to Paris in July 2014. I majored in French literature and 1 year physics for my undergrad degree and now I am in the Master in Management program at Hec Paris. I always try to change in a better way for my life, to embrace diversities, to explore the unknown, to share with others. And that's how I started my Airbnb journey.
Every year, my fiance and I will find a motto ( word of the year ) in order to summarize the major development in our life. The motto of 2015: Time. The only thing I am scared of is that I won't have enough time to see the whole world.
One of my favorite books is called A movable feast, which was written by Ernest Hemingway in the 1920s during his stay in Paris. It's amazing to discover Paris together with Hemingway and to find out that most of the places depicted in the book still exist and what's even better is that they remain as vivid as 80 years ago.
Speaking of food, I'm crazy about all kinds of food, especially Chinese spicy cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Thai, Italian, French. I am a passionate cook and tend to try and create different recipes.
As for the 7th art, I adore Woddy Allen. Let's admit that although not every single piece of his work is formidable, he managed to capture and interpret different aspects of a vivid life in his own ways. The fall in love, the breakup, the passion, the indifference, the hope, the despair, the humor, the boredom, the wit, the stupidity, the happiness, the grieve, etc.
In terms of the style of a traveler, I am more the "eat love pray" type. As a new comer to Europe, I am looking forward to not only visiting the different exotic destinations, but also living the daily life of the locals. This is among main reasons I would choose Airbnb. It is also why my boyfriend and I decided to share with all of you our sweet home and the true Parisian life through Airbnb.
Hope to see you soon.
