Situated on a leafy street, located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow, next to the Botanic Gardens and overlooking the River Kelvin.

Le logement
A clean, modern, beautifully bright one bedroom flat in a converted apartment in the heart of the West End. Perfectly situated on the first floor on a quiet road the apartment is light and bright with good open aspects and views over the city. The space is all yours!

The apartment's living room is large with high ceilings and two full height windows creating a lovely airy living space. Kick back and relax on the comfortable contemporary furniture after a day exploring the city in front of a smart TV including Netflix account, pick out a DVD, or sit and admire the view whilst listening to the apartments own Bluetooth speaker. The flat comes equipped with WIFI which is accessible throughout. The living room has an L-shaped chaise sofa which converts into a double bed.

The double bedroom is a good size with high ceilings with a comfortable double bed, large wardrobe space with drawers. Plenty of room to get ready for the day ahead or for an evening in the nearby restaurants and bars of the West End.

The modern kitchen is newly installed and fully equipped and cupboard space for your food and free use of all the equipment including the toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine, cooker and fridge freezer. The bathroom has a relaxing deep bath with an over bath shower.

There are a whole host of activities and things to go and see and do in the nearby West End. The Botanic Gardens opened in 1817 features several glasshouses, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace and is a short and relaxing 5 minute walk away down Glasgow's famous river Kelvin.

Take a wonder down to Byres Road (10 minutes) and explore the bohemian central artery of the city's West End with its academic and artistic population. Go for a drink in some of Glasgows most well loved institutions such as the Ubiquitous Chip (the "Chip") and Oran Mor. Feast on the array of restaurants which provide an abundant choice of cuisines. Don't forget to "find" the cobbled backstreet which is Ashton Lane a focus for bars, cafes and restaurants and with its own more traditional cinema The Grosvenor Picture Theatre (they have couches and allow you to have a pint or glass of wine in front of the latest movies!).

Glasgow University has been around since 1451 and was part of the Scottish Enlightenment during the 18th century. The apartment is within walking distance of it's historic buildings in the West End.

Garrioch Road is a charming 15 minutes walk to the local subway station at Hillhead on Byres Road which runs a regular service (usually you wait no more than 6 minutes) to the city centre with Buchanan Street station (linked to Queen Street Station) only 10 minutes and four stops away.
