I hope you found everything alright back home.
Thanks a lot for the suggestions. We try to keep local basics available in the house because we know stores are a drive away. We consider basics salt, sugar, tea, oil and vinegar, yerba mate... napkins, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, coffee filters, detergent,deodorant...toothpaste, mosquito protection for the nights...and some other stuff for the guest arrival. We unfortunately can’t know the specific things that every guest might like to have nor provide all of them for the whole length of the stay... some of the things you name are not considered basic in Argentina and thus are very expensive here (aluminum foil, plastic wrap) so we don’t offer them but they are available at the stores in town...
We leave 6 large bath towels (one per bed) and some small ones, please let me know if that wasn’t what you found upon arrival so that I can talk to Sole about it.
Linens we also provide a fresh set for each bed... there is a washer machine available and also the possibility of hiring Sole to clean the house and do laundry if you wish to refresh them during your stay.
We always leave 4 to 6 pool towels available, they are in the bathroom by the pool.
When you mention bugs and dust I really hope you didn’t find the house dirty upon arrival... if that’s so I apologize strongly. Being a country house, bugs and dust happen but the house should be perfect the day you receive it... again, if that wasn’t the case please let me know so that I can talk to Sole and see what have happened. It has never happened before and it shouldn’t have happened to you.
I hope you were comfortable enough during your stay despite the flaws you mention...
