The national forest that surrounds the property is ideal for hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, fishing, biking, 4 wheeling, and hunting. If down hill skiing and snowboarding are your sport, Breckenridge is just 30 minutes away. Other ski areas nearby include Cooper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. The Arkansas River is a short drive west and has some of the best white water rafting and kayaking. Wildlife is abundant on the property. Wildlife that frequent the property include elk, mule deer, bobcat, moose, mountain lion and black bear.
The home features a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, three bedrooms with queen beds, 1 sofa sleeper and three full baths. Each floor has one bedroom and bath for privacy. One of the bedrooms has a soaking tub overlooking the pond and Mt Silverheels. WIFI, Dish Network, TV, DVD, puzzles, and games are on site. There is even a pool table. You don't have to worry about the neighbors. There aren't any. The home is accessible year round though it is recommended in the winter to have a four wheel drive vehicle.
