Larry's cabin is absolutely beautiful, even more so than the photos make it seem. Larry himself is a wonderful and gracious host; he was kind enough to wait up late to welcome us even though we arrived very late, even going so far as to give us a tour of the cabin and suggest some local areas for dining and sightseeing. As other reviewers have said there were freshly baked treats waiting for us. There were also a table full of brochures and recreation guides for the area (all those insider tips!) and a large kitchen well-stocked with essential utensils (yes, including coffee maker and tea kettle). The cabin itself is homey and spacious, easily fitting our group of six, and the bathrooms are likewise spacious. In case you need to use the living room futon, that is also really comfortable. The common areas are huge and were great for watching movies and playing board games. It felt very much like staying at home (despite it not being our home) and did not feel like we were intruding on someone else's home. If you are looking for a secluded and comfortable place close to nearby towns and even closer to many fantastic hiking areas, I highly, highly recommend Larry's cabin.
