Top floor, light and spacious double room with fireplace in character Victorian house with garden.
The room has a comfortable double bed, painted floor, large bay window and original Victorian furniture.
I am close to trains, buses, ferry, beach and hill walks.
I am a yoga teacher and massage therapist so can offer you one to one yoga lessons or a relaxing massage in a lovely quiet warm space.
I am also a great cook and will make you a delicious evening meal if you give me enough notice.
The house has a garden and a really friendly cat.
The house is quirky, old and a little inconvenient, interesting and shabby. I need to point out that the bathroom is in the basement and the bedroom is 2 flights of stairs up so it is not suitable for anyone disabled or infirm. I have had new windows fitted since writing the above so it is much quieter now but in the summer the seagulls can be noisy. So bring some earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to kitchen, bathroom and garden and are welcome to cuddle the cat.
You would be welcome to cook your own food and use the washing machine. Please let me know in advance if you intend to do your own cooking.
The middle floor is my own private space and I would be grateful if this could be respected.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I would be happy to interact if wanted but tend to keep myself to myself unless invited.
I would be happy to give directions and any help needed.
The room has a double bed and can accommodate one or two people but an extra charge of £10 will be made for the second guest.
I would like guests to behave as they would in their own home, bearing in mind they are sharing with me so a modicum of quietness after 10.30pm would be appreciated.
I do not allow pets as I already have a cat.
I would prefer guests not to smoke but they are welcome to use the garden.

I am a single lady yoga teacher and massage therapist.
I love to travel and frequently work overseas teaching yoga at various centres especially in Greece.I have travelled extensively in India and Mexico, which are my favourite places in the world.I really enjoy going for long walks and exploring the local and distant countryside.
I have an adventurous spirit and have had many weird and wonderful experiences, learning from Shamanic healers, been buried alive (by choice) in Mexico and am very attracted by the exotic and unusual.
I love to cook healthy, tasty and nutritious food and enjoy looking after people and making them feel comfortable.
I enjoy reading and films especially the unusual and surreal. I am currently reading The Essex Serpent.
I have an extensive library of books on the mystical and unusual, the healing arts, yoga and lots of novels you would be free to browse through and borrow. (as long as you put them back).
