The Folly is a fabulous historic home. In one of Cape Town's best preserved Avenues which overlooks the city across the first-built water reservoirs - 'the Molteno' .Great views across the city tothe bay. Easy walktotown or catch a local bus or taxi.
The building was built in Victorian times but had a dramatic facade added in the 1920s which adds a playfully theatrical presence to an otherwise very gracious, historically protected the street. The interiors have been appropriately colorfully decorated and there is a generosity of spirit which pervades the space. There is a plunge pool in the small garden.
