Take in sea air and expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean from this cosy and contemporary rural private apartment; fully furnished, with a separate entrance and deck. Enjoy the use of an acoustic guitar, firepit, telescope and record player...
Take in sea air and expansive views from cosy and contemporary Seaview Sanctuary. The self-contained apartment above Dave & Colleen's seaside residence offers stunning views from a private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The apartment has a separate entrance and is a few minutes' walk from the beach and astonishing tides of the Bay of Fundy, in beautiful and historic Port Greville.
This bright, fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment is roomily laid out, and has windows on three sides to take in the natural views. Open the deck door to channel the lovely local sea breezes, if you like. The vaulted ceilings have exposed wooden beams and the bedroom can comfortably sleep two, with potential for three, having both a double and a single bed.
A pull-out double sofabed is also available.
The apartment has a private four-piece bathroom (large clawfoot tub with shower), as well as a new stove and half-size fridge. A microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffeemaker can also be found. There are DVDs and a player, books and a telescope; a dining area, writing desk, firepit, and kitchen table. Wireless internet, deck chairs, an acoustic guitar and a record player are on hand too-- bring your own vinyl, or listen to ours..
As much as possible, we use natural cleaning products and hang-dry the linens. Fall asleep on these to the ebb of the ocean, and in summer to the sweet calls of the Peepers..
Nearby amenities and attractions include a country store (ice cream, liquor, gifts, stamps, basic grocery/sundry, etc. - 5 min. walk), a ship-building museum [Age of Sail Museum] (20 min. walk), a dinosaur and geological museum [Fundy Geological Museum] and a theatre for plays and performances [Ship's Company Theater] in nearby Parrsboro (25 min. drive). Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, and local activities such as kayaking, paragliding, boating, hiking, horseback-riding, fossil-collecting, etc. also abound.
