Tai Pan: a memory of past times, a recall of distant seas, a story which ends with a beginning of a new journey. I invite you to discover the history of this boat, with its two cabins with bathrooms and a spatious dinette, decorated in marine style.
Tai-Pan is a typical example of American trawler, known also as houseboat. Such a boat type became associated with habitability and house-like size of interiors. Their arrangement cannot be called futuristic, but remains within the style of our yacht – vintage and wooden.
The main room is the dinette which is a place where the crew and the passengers may meet during meals, whenever they take place indoors. Wood, lamps and brass equipment make the interior warm and welcoming. As well as two cabins, the dinette is decorated in nautical style.
The stern cabin has two spacious and comfortable bunk beds and an ample wardrobe with drawers. The bathroom, even if it is not very spacious, is very comfortable. The bow cabin on the other hand may be surely defined luxurious. There are two beds inside, one double and one single, and a bathroom with a spacious and independent shower compartment. The cabin is air-conditioned and the is also an ample mahogany drawer with mirror and a brass lamp. Both cabins have been maintained with care and have been improved over the years in order to make a stay on board more comfortable and as satisfying as possible.

The crew, composed of myself and my friend Szymon is always present on board and carries on everything which concernes driving and maintaining the boat. If both cabins are occupied by guests, the crew stays for night on the fly bridge set to form the third cabin. Szymon speaks well, apart from Italian, also English, French, Polish and some basic German and Spanish, whereas I can handle some English.
The yahct stays normally in one of the turistic harbours of Portoferraio: Esaom, from where one can organise different sailing trips.
Regardless of how long you are going to stay, whether it will take a week, a day or just one evening for a romantic dinner in a lonely bay, I do invite you to contact me to ask about every detail, about the yacht, food and fuel.
Hopeful for favours of Neptune and Aeolus, I will do everything in order to give you a holiday studied especially for you... and to get you familiar with not only the Elba Island, but also with other islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The price does not include the fuel cost (30€ per hour of engines woking) and the overnight in harbours different from the base in Portoferraio.
