This 47 square metre apartment is tucked away on a tiny side street in the city.
Once inside you will find a bright, well laid out and inviting pied a terre. The apartment has windows on both sides to provide light.
This flat is on the first floor, no lift. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom as well as a sofa bed in the living room.
The foyer leads directly into a living room with large windows, an antique armoire and bookcase (with plenty of guide books about Paris) as well as a traditional, French gold mirror over the fireplace. We've also added some modern touches such as a very comfortable sofa that converts to a bed for two and a television with a DVD player. We've even stocked an eclectic collection of movies.
The wide plank, herringbone parquet floors date the apartment to sometime before 1875 and some of the antique furniture is from the same era. Original ceiling moulding adorns the main rooms of the flat. The entry foyer of the apartment has a large storage area for extra linens, towels, coats, suitcases and more. It's a great spot to drop your bags after a day shopping around the street market. There is also desk with a permanent, broadband linked computer.
One of the rare features of this Paris vacation apartment is the large dining room. Bright and sunny, the dining room has a lovely antique table making it just right for enjoying a meal at home or some coffee and a fresh croissant in the morning.
We have opened the wall between dining room and the kitchen making the area even more luminous.
The very well equipped kitchen has all of the conveniences you would need to prepare anything from light snacks to sumptuous meals (made with a fresh selection of ingredients from the rue de Levis marché).
The bedroom is accessible either by walking through the living room or by going through the kitchen area to the bathroom. This provides the utmost in privacy should there be someone sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. Our cosy bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, ready to fall into at the end of a busy day.
It is also a lovely room to wake up in as it has a window directly across from the bed. For your convenience, we have a classic armoire to store your belongings in, reading lights on either side of the bed and an alarm clock (although we hope you have come for a relaxing vacation and not use it too much).
The bright combined toilet and bathroom have all the modern amenities needed. The over sized shower head provides wonderful morning and if you look closely you will notice that the white rectangular tiles look very familiar...(think of the Paris metro stations if you have been here before).
We do not recommending driving in Paris but, if you do, there is a public garage at the end of the street.

You may check in/out any day of the week.
Times are as follows:
Check in time: 16:00; check out time: 10:00
In order to guarantee an early arrival (prior to 16:00), it is necessary to reserve and pay for the preceding night. If, however, we do not have someone arriving or departing the same day as you, we are very flexible with the check in times.
For check in/out before 8:30 or after 20:30, special arrangements will need to be made and there will be an additional charge of 50 Euros. This additional fee should be paid in Euros only directly to your greeter when you arrive at your Paris vacation apartment.
If you have chosen to stay in one of our places that rent by the calendar month, please note that check in is on the first day of the month and check out is on the last day of the month.
Cleaning & Linen/Towel Usage
Your Paris vacation apartment is cleaned before you arrive and after you leave without an additional fee. For stays shorter than a week, additional charges may apply. For stays of more than 6 weeks, a complementary monthly clean will be done. If your Paris holiday let is not left in a reasonable state, we reserve the right to deduct additional cleaning charges from your security deposit as mentioned below. For a stay of a week, you will be provided with one set of sheets per bed booked as well as one set of towels (one large and one small) per person. Should you require extra towels or sheets, there is an additional charge and you must request this in advance to your arrival in Paris. Whether stated or not on the web page for your Paris vacation apartment, there is a supplement of 100 Euros for the use of the sofa bed at any of our places. This amount is per stay and not per night.
Living amongst other full-time Parisian residents also requires a different level of respect and consideration as you may have different schedules than the rest of the people living in the building. We ask that you always conduct yourselves in a respectful and discrete manner when entering/exiting the building and in the common spaces as many of us are more accustomed to larger spaces, or single family homes in our native countries with minimal contact with our neighbours. In Paris, as you will see, we all live right on top of one another.
Neither smoking nor pets are allowed.
