À propos de ce logement
This 35 square metre second floor flat (no lift) has original exposed beams and high ceilings. There is an original marble fireplace, wood floors, floor to ceiling windows, and a living room view that overlooks an incredible view of the bustling Place. There is a double sized bed in the bedroom as well as a sofa bed in the living room. Note that the bathroom is located off of the kitchen up a couple of steps and has a curtain separating the rooms as show in our photos.
Located on the highest point of Paris, overlooking the city itself, and next door to Sacre Coeur is a perfect little Paris vacation apartment overlooking the famous artist square at the Place du Tertre.
Situated in a typical old Parisian building dating from the 1700s, the area lends itself to romantic walks, great restaurants, and great views of the city. Further down the hill, to the south is the rue des Abbesses where you can find small cafes and shops.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove and refrigerator/freezer. The combination washer/dryer is in the kitchen beside the refrigerator. There is also a typical French coffee press plus a teapot and all of the little amenities you would normally want at home.
When entering this Paris holiday let, you are directly in the kitchen area with the shower room and toilet up a couple of steps to your left.
Directly across from the kitchen is the bedroom that is conveniently located on an inner courtyard, away from the bustling square. The bedroom with a full sized bed is an inviting area to stay in. We would hope that you would not stay in too much though as the city calls for exploration.
From the bathroom and bedroom windows you get a slight peek at the tips of the dome of the Sacre Coeur, just an arms length away.
To the right of the kitchen is the salon. The living room is bright and airy as the tall French windows open onto the square where you can watch the artists busily at work. There is also a wardrobe where you can store your personal belongings.
If you decide to spend a day in, you can sit listening to the bustle of the square, while being absorbed in one of the travel books or listen to a CD while rubbing those tired feet. There is a table in the salon that can serve as a place to serve your own French-prepared meal. You could also use it as a spot to plan your next excursion in Paris.
You may check in/out any day of the week.
Times are as follows:
Check in time: 16:00; check out time: 10:00
In order to guarantee an early arrival (prior to 16:00), it is necessary to reserve and pay for the preceding night. If, however, we do not have someone arriving or departing the same day as you, we are very flexible with the check in times.
For check in/out before 8:30 or after 20:30, special arrangements will need to be made and there will be an additional charge of 50 Euros. This additional fee should be paid in Euros only directly to your greeter when you arrive at your Paris vacation apartment.
If you have chosen to stay in one of our places that rent by the calendar month, please note that check in is on the first day of the month and check out is on the last day of the month.
Cleaning & Linen/Towel Usage
Your Paris vacation apartment is cleaned before you arrive and after you leave without an additional fee. For stays shorter than a week, additional charges may apply. For stays of more than 6 weeks, a complementary monthly clean will be done. If your Paris holiday let is not left in a reasonable state, we reserve the right to deduct additional cleaning charges from your security deposit as mentioned below. For a stay of a week, you will be provided with one set of sheets per bed booked as well as one set of towels (one large and one small) per person. Should you require extra towels or sheets, there is an additional charge and you must request this in advance to your arrival in Paris. Whether stated or not on the web page for your Paris vacation apartment, there is a supplement of 100 Euros for the use of the sofa bed at any of our places. This amount is per stay and not per night.
Living amongst other full-time Parisian residents also requires a different level of respect and consideration as you may have different schedules than the rest of the people living in the building. We ask that you always conduct yourselves in a respectful and discrete manner when entering/exiting the building and in the common spaces as many of us are more accustomed to larger spaces, or single family homes in our native countries with minimal contact with our neighbours. In Paris, as you will see, we all live right on top of one another.
Neither smoking nor pets are allowed.
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 7 jours avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement à hauteur de 50 %. En cas d'annulation au cours des 7 jours précédant le voyage, la réservation est non remboursable.
