Forrest Passive House is a new build self-contained 2 bedroom property situated in the wonderful township of Forrest in the beautiful Otway Ranges. Based on Passiv Haus construction principles with optimal environmental comfort as a focus we hope you’ll find your stay to be exhilarating, relaxing and rejuvenating in equal measures!
The house sits on ½ acre of land with plenty of lawn space and a large decked area overlooking fields and the friendly equine neighbours, for optimal outdoor relaxation. The house comfortably sleeps 4-5 guests and is built around a large central open plan living area with 6 metre high cathedral ceilings giving the rooms a feeling of space, airiness and peace.
Located in the centre of the Forrest township on the Colac-Forrest Road we are ideally situated for hitting the Mountain Bike Trails - 5 mins drive from the start of the Yaugher trails and 5 mins cycle from the start of the Southern trails. And after a long day cycling, when a beer and a feed are required but you don’t feel like using the BBQ or well –equipped kitchen to prepare your own meal, both The Brewery and The Wonky Donky Hotel are just a short walk away.
