Mark's spacious place was perfect for our group (3 couples), and conveniently located close to Amherst. In addition to the very comfortable size, it was clean, and had everything we needed (including a very well stocked kitchen). Though we weren't able to meet Mark, we were greeted with a bottle of red wine!
Perfect house for a family retreat or gathering. We enjoyed our stay during Hampshire graduation. Location is close to all the colleges and Amherst and North Hampton, top it off Mark was an amazing host and would highly recommend this AirBnB. We had a chance to try some of his Fish Hook wine to top off the experience.
My family was gathering for my son's college graduation from UMASS Amherst. Extended family was arriving from the East coast, including grandparents. We wanted a space that would allow a family that does not meet often to spend time together. Mark's home provided a warm, comfortable and inviting space which exceeded expectations. The contemporary home is filled with light and surrounded by nature. It is quiet yet only a 15 minute drive to the campus, perfectly located for travel to and from ceremonies. The main floor of the home has two large sitting areas and a kitchen that easily accommodated our family (8). It is an inviting and comfortable home which cannot be stressed enough when you are surrounded by family attending an event. The three bedrooms and a bathroom on the downstairs level are convenient and provide a separation for privacy. The upstairs had a nice size master suite and bathroom. We were unable to take advantage of the front deck and seating area which is larger than depicted, due to the rainy weather. There are doors that open unto the deck from the living room area. It would have been lovely to open these doors on a nice spring day and sit at the table, maybe next time. Mark welcomed me upon my arrival, walked thru the home, and provided an answer sheet to many questions. The home wifi worked with ease. Everyone in the family, including 3 over the age of 80, enjoyed the home, which contributed to a wonderful celebration. Thank you Mark.
Mark and his friend met us at the house and gave us a thorough tour of the split-level house which is located just north of the UMass Amherst Campus. And then Mark gave us welcome bottles of red and white wine! There are three bedrooms and one bath downstairs, two living areas and an open floor plan kitchen in the middle, and then a master bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. All bedrooms have double or queen beds. There are several couches in the house as well. The house has a nice front deck. You can't tell too much about the house from the photographs or the description. But it is lovely. Our group of six were comfortable at the house and enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Mark and Ginny.
