Dear Alexandra You have a lovely and thoughtfully decorated home. The weather was extremely hot when we were there ( late december to early Jan ) so the pool at the back really came in handy and not to mention the close proximity to Cottesloe beach. Thank you for making our family reunion wonderful. We all felt at home .. And nothing ia better than that.

We spent a week over Christmas at Alex's home. The house itself is charming and has a comfortable feel to it. Proximity to the local shops is excellent and it's a 5min walk to the deli, supermarket, coffee etc. The walk to the beach is a little longer, about (12 mins). Alex met us with the key and provided a tour of the house. The house itself could use a few basic improvements to make your stay enjoyable and in line with the $540 per night price tag. Ample cook wear and utensils, a few large serving bowls/platters, a set of matching cutlery and drinking glasses to suit the amount of people it sleeps would be ideal, bed-side lamps (pictured but not provided), clothes pegs, and a working television in a living space are all simple things that make a difference. The photos show rugs on the floor, lovely bed linen in all rooms, the Eames chair, more artwork etc. than in reality. In all we enjoyed our time, however, a few inexpensive and simple improvements would make the experience even better.

We were made to feel very welcome and given a tour of the property on arrival. The house was beautiful, and as expected. Comfortable and well appointed. The location of the property was great, close to shopping and the train station and only a short stroll to the beach. We would recommend this property to friends.

I rented a house to hold my family of 5 adults and 2 kids. What I didn't expect was to get a home while on holiday! It is a house that felt lovingly used and lived in before and perpetuates a sense of being right at home. Everything was lovely at Alexandra's. The location, the amenities (woolworth, beach, train) near the house, the well stocked home with loads of "Thomas the train" for my 2 boys. Still smiling (while writing this review) from the lovely experience at Perth, Cottlesloe, I have to credit this perfect "home" for starting our days right and ending our nights cosily. We cooked everyday and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen which comes nicely with rice cooker, a slow cooker for soups and many different bowls, plates and cutlery. My mom, an avid cook, loves everything about the kitchen and only has good words about her first Australian experience. The front living room was equipped with all genres of dvd titles, toys for indoor play and kept all members of my family well entertained when the weather turned a lil chilly on a few nights. The living and dining room to the back; my favourite room in the entire house was warm and sunny in the morning, catching the beautiful morning sun and looked out to the rustic garden to the back where more toys are kept. The central heater kept the nights cosy and was a relief for us since we came from a country without the seasons. The beds and sheets were such pleasure to retire to at night. My boys were delighted with all the toys around the house and occasionally whined to "go back home to the toys". It was a wonderful homely holiday for us and we were all dragging our feet on the last day as we said our goodbye to the house. Thank you Alexandra for your wonderful well kept home and for meeting us on the first night. We will be back for sure!

Making a booking at 'Easy Going Cottesloe Home' was straightforward and quick as the hosts were so prompt, helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with! On check in day we were met by Alexandra who was delightful and welcoming and made sure we were introduced to the house properly. We had a very warm welcome which we appreciated. The hosts had left us an information pack about the area and house which was reassuring and interesting. We knew that if we had any questions or concerns the hosts would be easy to get hold of (but we got on fine). Fresh fruit and rolls were left for us in the kitchen as well as staples such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. We were invited to use the towels including beach towels for the beach which was great. 'Easy Going Cottesloe Home' had all the facilities available for a family of four to use, (but it does not have a microwave). We cooked most nights and made use of the washing machine. It was cold most evenings so we put the central heating on which warmed rooms quickly. The children watched a few of the hosts DVD's which was great. We really enjoyed sitting on the pretty verandah and the bedrooms are beautiful. 'Easy Going Cottesloe Home' is very close the town centre, railway and a short walk to the beach. It was a really nice way to experience what Cottesloe has to offer. Staying at 'Easy Going Cottesloe Home' was much more interesting than staying in a hotel, and had much more space!

The house is comfortable for a big group. The central heating was really useful during winter as we were kept warm on cold days. Alex was very helpful in providing assistance over the phone on how to operate some of the electrical appliances. She was kind enough to buy some basic food like bread and fruit for us knowing that we arrive in the evening. There were enough towels and blankets. The house is really good for people with kids as there are ample toys and books as well as DVDs to entertain, although we needed getting used to not having a TV in the living room. Our kids loved the swing in the garden. It was my first experience booking through airbnb and it's been a fantastic experience.
