A charming traditional second floor flat situated within the desirable district of Hillside, a popular central area within easy reach of the City Centre. The property lies adjacent to the delightful Montgomery Street Public Park which has a large Children's play area and offers superb open views to the Firth of Forth and beyond. The 2nd Bedroom is a Loft Bedroom which is just perfect for kids.

Montgomery Street was built around the early 19th century, around 1820. The entrance is via a well maintained spiral stairwell (sadly no elevators in 1820) which affords an array of natural daylight from the cupola above.

The property which is on the 2nd floor features an attractive L shaped hallway, off the hallway is a large cupboard where the washing machine / tumble dryer / fridge are located. The Hallway faces directly into the kitchen area which has all the modern appliances; Nespresso coffee machine (Including free pods) Oven, Toaster, Kettle, Electric hob, Microwave and Complimentary coffee and teas. There is also a collection of dry goods for use and a fresh pint of milk on arrival.

The double bedroom has a large separate storage room to hang and store clothes along with a separate clothes drawer. The Bedroom has views over the Montgomery Street Park and beyond towards the Firth of Forth.

The box room which has been conveniently designed to accommodate a fitted double bed or loft bed popular with everyone with ample study facilities beneath.

The lounge has a 42" TV. Two Sofa's one of which is a Sofa Bed. There is a separate table and chairs if you prefer to eat at home.

The bathroom comes complete with a shower design, plentiful hot water on hand with the thermostatic shower.

NEST Temperature controls the apartments gas radiators in each room.

At Montgomery Street guests have access to Egyptian cotton sheets, Cole and Lewis Wild Fig and Iris Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash/Hand Wash set. Free Wifi, 42" TV and NEST Temperature control.

The whole apartment is for you and is not shared by anyone else. 2 sets of keys will be left at the apartment during check in to access the property. 24 hour access during check in is available with the use of a key box on the main street. To access the property please use Buzzer No.5.

Please can you let us know if you are two guests and you require two seperate beds made up. The property has a Main Bed a Loft Bed and a Sofa Bed. I like to keep the numbers to a maximum of four people.

Whether you're coming for business, pleasure or to visit family, I hope you will enjoy the facilities and more importantly have a fantastic time in Edinburgh. I grew up on the outskirts of Edinburgh and after graduating from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen have been traveling and working all over the world for the last 20 years. I have since settled in Thailand and have 2 beautiful daughters who both love coming to stay in Edinburgh. From Unlimted WiFi, Nespresso Coffee, Flat screen Cable TV’s, NEST Temperature control, Luxury Linens and Bedding, add this to the additional space, privacy and flexibility of a private apartment, along with fully equipped kitchens I do hope you have the perfect holiday. Guests who arrive later than around 15:00 hrs will be given key box instructions for entry which is very simple. There will be an apartment guide at the apartment which will answer all questions, you can also find the apartment guide here once booking is confirmed.

Check out is at 11am. If possible a later check out is accepted as long as there are no guest arrivals that day.

In view of the above it is extremely helpful to note your travel plans; what time you expect to arrive and how; for example either by the airport or train and if you can let Ailsa know what time you expect to depart so we can turn around the property as fast as possible and provide the above (early check ins) for the next guest.
