I am a children's books editor and mum with a passion for all things outdoors, from mountain biking, windsurfing & skiing to a simple hike up on the South Downs. I have lived in Brighton for over 20 years with my husband Jake, who runs Brighton's oldest cocktail bar. We have hiked around Nepal's Annapurna Circuit, whitewater rafted down the Karnali River, trekked the Haute Route in the Alps and hitchhiked across Australia's Northern Territory (a good idea at the time...). Running on the South Downs and swimming in the sea keep us sane. We love meeting new people from all walks of life and the ever-widening horizons they bring into the house. Variety is the spice of life :)
