Whichways is a luxury 1-bedroom holiday cottage which has recently been lovingly refurbished. It sits on the edge of the hamlet of Armscote in Warwickshire - the gateway to the Cotswolds, 7 miles south of the historical and cultural town of Stratford-Upon-Avon (birthplace of William Shakespeare), and 8 miles north of Moreton-in-Marsh in the heart of the Cotwolds with its wealth of outstanding towns, villages and POI's all of which are well worth a visit when exploring this part of the country.

Also within easy reach are the main towns of: Warwick (& Warwick Castle), Leamington Spa, Banbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester & Tewkesbury to name just a few.
There is so much to do in the area you really will be spoilt for choice – arboretums, churches, castles, a tower, National Trust properties, scenic country walks & cycle rides, award-winning gardens, the Shakespeare Theatre, river cruises, leisure & golf facilities, tea rooms, and pubs & restaurants.

The cottage shares its driveway with the main house (where we live) and there is a designated wide parking area specifically for the cottage. The courtyard-style paved garden to the rear is south-facing and has cushioned patio furniture and a full sized six-seater hot-tub which is for the sole use of our guests staying in the cottage. We provide towels for the hot-tub but guests should bring their own dressing gowns and flip flops. The area around the hot-tub has been fenced for your privacy, and the remainder of the patio is divided from our garden using espalier fruit trees to give a more ‘open’ feel and view. The espalier trees are newly planted in 2018 and will of course fill-out over time! There is no BBQ provided, but there is a designated paving slab for use under disposable BBQ’s.
‘Warm white’ LED lighting lights both the front and rear of the cottage. Free password protected superfast broadband is available for the sole use of our guests, and ‘Worldwide-to-England’ earthed travel adapters are provided which should cover electrical adapter needs from around the globe.
Property Details
The interior has a light and airy feel and has been thoughtfully designed with wide doorways for ease of access for everyone, and it is centrally heated via radiators. Being all on one level the cottage is also wheelchair friendly and exterior ramps are available on request (if they are required please just let us know when making your booking and they will be in place on your arrival).
The kitchen is open-plan onto the dining/living area and is well equipped with everything you should need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, including integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge (no freezer), ceramic hob, electric fan oven etc. All the usual safety equipment is present and all basic kitchen necessities are provided. A complimentary pack of fresh local produce will be in the cottage on your arrival.
The sitting room has a large 3-seater sofa, flat screen TV with freesat box, and a dining table & chairs which doubles as an excellent laptop working space. Double doors lead to the patio at the rear, and remote-controlled Velux windows continue the light and airy feel and provide extra ventilation if required.
The bedroom has an English King-size (5ft) bed with a 10” memory foam mattress fitted with good quality crisp white bed linens, a fitted wardrobe with interior light and a chest of drawers.
The shower room is spacious and includes a large shower enclosure. The space has been carefully designed to ensure adequate room for transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet. There are fixed grabrails in the shower and next to the toilet. A height-adjustable shower stool is also available on request. Towels for both the shower and hot tub are provided for your stay.

The cottage is completely self-contained, well-appointed, and furnished to a high standard to ensure you have everything you need for that ‘home away from home’ experience.
We live in the main house and like to introduce ourselves and show you around when you arrive. We do however believe in offering our guests privacy and room to relax but we are within easy reach should there be the need.
Guests are welcome to arrange internet shopping to be delivered on their arrival day, please simply make us aware that a delivery is booked so we can ensure we are available to take delivery, should it arrive before your check-in time and we can chill any cold produce in the fridge.
The hot-tub is deep-cleaned before new guests, and the chemical levels are checked on a daily basis which ensures all guests can fully enjoy the experience safely. We do therefore have rights of access for maintenance purposes.
