I was inspired by friends to become a vegetarian, and it completely changed my life. I noticed an immediate surge of energy and an overall sense of health and well being. For over 30 years, I have continued to live and promote a healthy, holistic lifestyle. I love traveling (Grenada, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Japan, San Francisco, Chicago, St. Croix) and encourages others when I do travel to join me in being their best. I am the founder of Virgin Islands Vegetarian Society (VIVS), a non-profit that educates the community about living a health supportive lifestyle; particularly those affected by hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol. My motto in life is "wellness." Through VIVS, I organize the Vegetarian Kitchen & A Movie night, The Wellness Festival, the How To Eat To Live Retreat, and speak to groups interested in transitioning to a plant-based meal plan. My work and studies center on issues involving social (food) justice, farming, making food our medicine, and preparing tasty food for individuals battling diseases. My favorite movies are The Bourne film series (Matt Damon), The Transporter, In the Name of the King (Jason Stratham) and The Hateful Eight (Samuel Jackson). "Have a friend; will travel" is my style of traveling anywhere in the world. As a young woman interested in seeing the world, I found having friends all over was good for security and for the skinny on the best, most affordable places to go during my stay. This is the kind of service I will offer to you. My units are nestled away on a quiet road in the center of the island. A nice walk to the park, public transportation or to the local mall, grocery shopping and movie theater. I'll keep you up-to-date on where to go for fun, food or the like.
