House Manual - 10 Baw Baw Street, Thurgoona
Welcome to my place, I hope have a great time in our lovely rural city whatever the reason for your visit might be. Please read through the manual and don’t hesitate to call me if I can help you in any way during your stay.
While staying at 10 Baw Baw Street please treat my home as your home, using the same care as you would give to your home and possessions.
HEATING: There are two Gas Wall Heaters. Please only heat the areas you are using. You should close doors to bedrooms, laundry and areas you are not using. Turn off heaters when you go to bed or when you leave the house during the day. Turn heater on again in morning or on your return, they take only 20 minutes to re-heat the house. If you draw curtains in the evenings the house will stay much warmer for you.
When you book out turn off taps to washing nachine, electric blankets, heater Pilot Light etc. Please don't leave dishwasher or washing machine running.
COOLING: We have a ducted Evaporative Air-Conditioner with instructions printed on it. You must open curtains, windows and doors to allow cooled air to flow through the house. Close doors and windows to bathrooms, laundry and any rooms you are not using, this helps to cool more quickly and efficiently. You can use low setting and time to run for a few hours if having a hot night. Also there are fans in some rooms which keep the house cooler and the air moving if you need them. Please always turn off air-conditioner when you leave the house, close the windows and curtains when not at home during the day, and open up and turn on air-conditioner when you return home, the house will cool more efficiently for you then.
ELECTRICAL ITEMS: Please read the instructions printed on the equipment, in the manual, or in the books provided. If not already familiar with how things work or at all unsure how to use anything please give me a call so I can help you. TV's, Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Clothes Dryers, kettles, toaster etc. turn off after using them at the wall if you can reach. Except the fridge, do not turn off the fridge at all please.
ELECTRIC BLANKETS ON BEDS: All beds have them. Turn onto warm your bed an hour or so before you go to bed, and turn off once you get into bed. Always turn electric blankets off at the wall when you leave the house.
LAUNDRY: Clothes Horses in laundry are available, and work well out the back in the sun on the pavers, plus you have a line outside laundry, and another longer one down the southern side of the house. Clothes dryer also, please empty the filter after each use, and open laundry window for ventilation out (close the internal door as well) Turn off the taps to Washing Machine after use and Dryer off at wall.
TOILETS / BATHROOMS: Do not flush Feminine Hygiene items, must be placed in the outside bins. You should contact me immediately if there is ever a blocked toilet, sink etc.
CLEANING: There are supplies and cloths in laundry if you need to spot clean, but please do not "wet mop" the laminate floors as it may cause damage if too much water lies on it. You can spot clean any spills there will be a damp mop in laundry for these. Also a dry vacuum in laundry for carpet/sweeping floors if you feel you need to. I don't expect you to clean the house before you leave, but if staying for more than a week it’s nicer for you to keep it fairly clean as you go for your own enjoyment.
GARBAGE: Instructions for rubbish and recycling are on handouts on kitchen cupboard. Bins go to the kerb on Sunday evenings, simply check what neighbours have put out on Sunday evening and put the same coloured bins to kerb OR PUT OUT 3 BINS. (See other instructions in the house for Albury City 3 Bin garbage collection system)

WATERING: I have a watering drip systems on in summer but if you are staying for a while feel free to water the pot plants at front of house and back if you think they need it.
THINGS YOU MAY NOT DO: No Smoking in the house, No use of illicit drugs on the property. Furniture: No eating foods, no sleeping on, no wearing shoes, no jumping on leather couch. Please take care of the furniture and surfaces. No Extra Guests, not to sleep, not to shower, not to stay overnight. No guests that have not booked can be accepted. No Partys! This is not a Party House, no parties to be held. No advertising of the address in any way or format please.
WHEN YOUR STAY IS OVER: Please check you haven’t left any of your possessions, phones, CD’s etc. in the players, under pillows, beds or anywhere in the house. If I find anything major I will let you know.
I’d appreciate if you used the BBQ, the Oven, any games, DVD’s CD’s, please leave as clean & neat as you found them in readiness for the next guests.
Please remove all food from the kitchen bins, refrigerator, stove, etc. and put all the bins to the Kerb, unless I let you know otherwise, as it may be a few days before I get to the house.
Lock the house front and back, return the keys to the key safe and scramble the key safe code. Please send me a text when you have left so I can set the alarm remotely.

My friends and I done a three month internship at CSU in Thurgoona, we spent all our nights at Donna's house. It is closed to the Uni so it was convenient. The house is big and fully furnished. What's more, Donna is very helpful, accomodating and kind. We spent 3 months without any problem, I recommend Donna and her house.

Donna is absolutely wonderful! We had 6 friends stay the night while visiting family and the local wineries for a long weekend. The house has a beautiful cosy feel which immediately makes you feel welcome and at home. Everything was as advertised and Donna was truly amazing, nothing was too much of a hassle. Certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others!

Donna's place well-located and so accessible to the Albury Wodonga region. Definitely a home away from home.

Great host and great place. Very nice house and would recommend to anyone. Donna also went out of her way to return a left mobile phone which was very nice of her.

I recently moved out of town but as I still come and go I decided it would be a waste to not share my home with others, so hello AirBNB.
The home has beautiful views and a very relaxed and calm feel about it, in a quiet safe community only 10 minutes drive from Albury CBD. Charles Sturt Uni Campus is only a 5 minute walk away. 15 minutes drive to Norske Skog, Army Barracks @ Bandiana, 5 minutes to Albury Airport, Thurgoona Golf Course, Thurgoona's new Shopping Centre, it's very easy to get around from here. In 5 minutes you are on the freeway to anywhere you want to go locally.

Me? I like gardening, Cooking, spending quality time with family & friends, farming, animals music and travelling. Dreaming of European travel... staying in some others homes through AirBNB. You can help my dreams come true by booking my house for your next Albury Wodonga stay.
