Please respect that this is my home: I live here, my way of life is private and my own business.
I will be around while you're staying: whilst I'm delighted to share my space, and happy to help in any way, the beauty of this space is that it's almost self-contained, so I leave my guests to their own devices and I appreciate the same treatment in return.
Please check with me before bringing visitors round, although it really isn't a problem.
If you have pets/kids just let me know: as long as they don't chew the furniture we'll be cool!
I smoke and have no issue with it, equally you have a separate floor so you will not be affected by anyone smoking in the upper floors.
*** CHECK IN: I would be very grateful if my guests could please be clear what time they expect to arrive so that I may plan my day accordingly. check in outside the specified times ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) can be arranged for a surcharge of £5 - early check in, baggage storage, extra parking hours, late check-out - may all be possible for an extra fee - please ask. ***
My home is my sanctuary - I love to meet people from around the world and welcome them into my home in lively multicultural Brixton, London town.
I'm a creative person with a love of music, dancing, travel, literature, cookery, home-making, and language (I also speak Welsh & Jamaican: they didn't have tick-boxes for those!)
I am extremely generous and hospitable, and sensitive to the privacy of my guests. The joy of this space is that you have an almost self-contained apartment to yourself in a prime London location. Bear in mind that Brixton is culturally lively and not for those who prefer a 'conservative' non 'rock n roll' life-style! Working in the music industry, it is a big part of why I live here.
In the spirit of Air BnB as much as I respect your privacy, please remember that this is my HOME - it's not a hotel - and I expect my guests to respect my privacy and lifestyle in the same way as I respect theirs.
