A gorgeous and beautifully decorated sunny 3 bedroom apartment with magnificent sea and harbour views from windows, within walking distance of shops, sights, restaurant, pubs,beach. A true holiday dream. Great for families, fishermen, golfers and nature lovers. An amazing place.

Spectacular apartment in an unique location in Youghal and has almost ship like presence with amazing views of the Blackwater river (famous for its salmon fishing) and Youghal Bay from almost every window. See as far as the Atlantic from your recreation space. Watch the birds, fishing boats landing their catch, yachts sailing by from your balcony or dining table. Hear the tide ebb and flow from your bed at night. Mooring a possibility. The environment alleviates stress. Easy access to gourmet restaurants in Youghal (Ahernes seafood restaurant, Walter Raleigh pub and restaurant The Lighthouse and Imperial). Nearby great restaurants include the michelin starred restaurant in Cliff House Hotel Ardmore, famous Ahernes seafood restaurant, the White Horses Ardmore, Ballimaloo Shangarry (cookery courses and dining), and Tannery Dungarvan)., leisure centre, golf, great beaches, fishing, and shops etc. Mooring a possibility.

Bathroom has shower over bath. Sea views from the large lounge/ dining room and kitchen with dishwasher and washer dryer. Newly renovated with black and white Marble tiles. Bedrooms are carpeted, Lounge has (double) comfortable sofa bed. Large wraparound balcony opens from lounge. Bed linen and towels provided - 1 set for 7 nights. Gated secure courtyard with parking. Electricity use extra (meter read on arrival and departure)

Youghal is a heritage town with old town walls, Sir Walter Raleigh's residence at the gate of old church . Join a walking tour from the tourist office and learn all about it.

There is great fishing, beach, river tours, golf walking tracks, leisure centre and amusement centre for the children.

There is music in Clancy’s pub near the Strand on Friday's and Sunday evenings from 5.30 (usually). The wildlife park in Fota which is great fun too.

The tourist office on the seafront opposite Moby Dick pub will give you all the local information.

There is a small market in Lismore on Sunday mornings where you can also visit the Devonshire Castle gardens. The castle itself overlooks the Blackwater river.

The Pattern occurs in Ardmore in July. In Ardmore there is an ancient Round Tower, little art galleries and pottery shops and the Michelin starred Cliff House hotel. There is a good fish and chipper on the way in to Ardmore, at cross. The White Horses Restaurant there is good too.

Dungarvan is a great town with good shopping, the Walton Park, St. John' Castle and lovely harbour with an important estuary for sea birds.

Middleton Distillery does daily tours and is very popular. There is a good restaurant /cafe there which is good. The Farmgate in Middleton is very good for lunch. You could also visit Shangarry where Ballmaloo House has a top class restaurant but also a cafe where you could have your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Their craft shop is very good.Nearby is Seashell cottage and Rachel Allen's cookery school and shop. Simon Pearce and some pottery shops are nearby. Ballycotton is lovely seaside town with good food.

Cobh hosts the Titanic memorabilia museum. Cobh was the last port that the Titanic stopped at.

Cork with its English market (Queen Elizabeth visited it and she was loved by all). She invited the fish stand owner she chatted to there to her big party when our President Higgins had a state visit to UK). There is a restaurant upstairs there too and in the Crawford Art Gallery.

Waterford city is also worth a visit with its Waterford Glass Centre, St John' Castle, Historic and cultural activities.
There are great restaurants - Ahernes Seafood restaurant, the Lighthouse, the Walter Raleigh, the Old imperial and many others.
There is traditional music in Clancy,s pub on the strand on Sunday evenings from 5.30 (usually) and on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is good too. Children's main 5 euro and adults main hamburger 12.50, fish 18.50. Not cheap but if you want a good evening out you should enjoy it. We went there this week after visiting the wildlife park in Fota which is great fun too.

The tourist centre have a historical exhibit where you can hear all about the amazing history of Ardmore.

You can watch dolphin and whale migration from the cliff walk. There is a good fish and chipper on the way in to Ardmore, at the cross. The White Horses there is good too but not cheap.

There is a frequent bus service to Cork and Waterford which stops at intervening towns. However to fully explore the beautiful countryside it is advisable to have a car.
