This great location is a short walk to world-class surfing beaches, cinemas, restaurants, cafes, public transport. There are many gorgeous breakfast cafes nearby so we don't provide breakfast.
Non-smoking only both inside and out. Please don't smoke out on the street outside our property either. No barking dogs although dog sitting happily provided! Please read our house rules thoroughly before booking.
This property is at the top of a small hill. Access to the beach and shops can be either via the set of concrete stairs leading down into Goodwin Park, or via the footpath along Dutton St. It is suitable for folk with reasonable, average fitness but not suitable for folk who require walking assistance. It is also tough to push a stroller up the hill to come home.
The saltwater pool level area of our property features 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds suitable for 2 couples. There is also a single bed in the living area. The living area has a comfortable two-seater sofa and 2 chairs and a desk. The new kitchen features a Bosch induction cooktop, a Westinghouse wall oven and microwave, a Haier dishwasher, and a Delonghi coffee machine. There is a separate bathroom and toilet. Wifi throughout.

Guests have their own private access to the apartment downstairs and exclusive use of the covered carport.
Arie and I live upstairs with our 15 year old Jack Russell dog named Jet and our new 11 year old Jack Russell X named Boswell.

We are available upstairs and happy to help you with local knowledge and assistance so that you enjoy a wonderful time at our beautiful Coolangatta. Or you can enjoy total privacy, come and go as you please and not know we are even there!
Please be aware that we don't provide breakfast so let us know if you need us to pick up your favourite breakfast items! Also, please remember that this is a non-smoking property both inside and outside.
We have a few bicycles we are happy to adjust for you if you would like to pedal around to explore the local area. There are plenty of bikeways, heading north or south, and our local knowledge can keep you on quiet roads.
A Webber BabyQ barbecue is available for your use.
If you need transport to and from the airport, we recommend a reliable local bus shuttle service. (Please ask for the phone and email contact details when you book.) Norman runs an excellent shuttle service which also travels to the theme parks (Movieworld, Dreamworld, Wet and Wild) and south to the Tweed Coast and Byron Bay. You won't need a car here!
1. We respect the peace and quiet of our neighbours and our neighbourhood and we ask that you do the same. This means that if you have children who squeal or dogs that bark, please do not book this space.
2. NO SMOKING anywhere. This means no smoking inside or outside or outside our property in the street where it affects our neighbours. If you or any member of your group smoke, this listing is not suitable for you.
3. Only quiet, friendly, well socialised pets please and please keep your dog out of the pool.
4. If you need to meet friends in Coolangatta, please don't invite them to meet you at our house. There are many appropriate meeting places in Coolangatta. You and the individuals listed on your booking application are the only guests on our property. However, this reasonable rule is negotiable as long as you let us know.
