This modern two bedroom, two bath apartment is conveniently located on a hill overlooking the Centro Historic District. A queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other. There are two lofts overlooking the city, with a futon in the second loft.
This apartment is on two levels, but with the two lofts it is actually on four levels. Upstairs is a bedroom with queen bed and full private bath. On the main level is the kitchen and living area with flat screen TV. Above the living area is a loft overlooking the central city with chairs and table to enjoy morning coffee or evening libations. Three steps down from the main level is the second bedroom with two single beds and a private full bath. Upstairs from this room is another loft with a futon that could accommodate another person or even two children. The quoted price is for two, somewhat less for one, more for more than two. Wifi available.

The apartment is is within easy walking distance to all of the important historic and cultural sites in the Centro Historic District: five blocks to Plaza Grande and its mutiplicity of attractions, six blocks to Plaza San Francisco, five blocks to the national theater Teatro Sucre (all of the above downhill), and five blocks to the fantastic Museum of Contemporary Art (some uphill). Easy walking distance to the three BRT lines, and taxis are very cheap in Quito. There is an elevator to the apartment level, but stairs within the unit.

I live in Florida but would always be available by e-mail. We provide all guests with a local cell phone, and my local representative Juan Cevallos will be available by phone for assistance with questions or to provide local or out of town tours. Sometimes we will be next door at Closer to Heaven II.
The apartment has a connection to a second apartment for rent that is separately listed. Prices for the two apartments together are available. The second apartment is also on two levels and has two and half baths. It is ideal for two people, but there is a futon in the second room overlooking the city that could accommodate another adult or two children. These units are in a larger complex called Camino Real that has a 24 hour security guard. However, the apartments are not easy to find the first time. That is why if you are flying in, we would request that you have Juan Cevallos pick you up at the airport and deliver you directly to the apartment and explain where things can be found. We would ask that you pay Juan directly $60 in cash for the round trip ride from and to the airport and getting you settled in (the normal cab fare is about $35 one way since the new airport is very far out of town). Juan is a professional tour guide and can provide tours of the city or out of town places of interest like Otavalo or Baños. As noted, these apartments are near the top of a hill and have considerable stairs involved, so not very suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
I hope that the guests will treat this apartment as they would their own home. Please no smoking, but there are extensive patio areas within the aparment complex.
