Absolutely loved the house! The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do, such as downtown, 7th St., Stockyards, Magnolia Avenue. We used Lyft/Uber the entire week and each ride was $8 or less and showed up within four minutes of ordering. The house itself is deceiving from the outside, as it looks like a small garage apartment. Once we entered the front door we were blown away by the space and the beautiful decor. During our stay it was 100+ degrees each day, the air conditioning worked like a champ. The backyard and pool area are even more beautiful than the pictures. We spent most of our time in the backyard grilling and enjoying our vacation. It is a lovely quiet neighborhood, so I would not suggest this house if you're planning on having loud parties with lots of guests after 10 PM. The host responded immediately to messages when asked if I could extend the stay and book additional days. We were given our entry code the day before we arrived and everything went smooth as silk. It is by far my favorite Airbnb that I have stayed in so far. I will definitely be booking the Curzon House every summer! *Tips- Gold Nail Salon does amazing pedicures and is literally right around the corner. Central market is the best grocery store I've ever been in. Yucatán taco stand on Magnolia Avenue was some of the best food we ate while we were in town.
This small house was perfect for our stay in connection with a high school reunion. The three bedrooms were comfortable, and the entire place was immaculate. The pool area is lovely with lots of seating. The location was good for us as we wanted to be relatively near Ridglea Country Club; also turned out that one of our friends lives only a block away! D.R. responded to questions quickly. Check-in was so easy with the automatic door lock. Our stay was fantastic!
this property is very clean, the interior has a bit odd layout another review describe it better than i could but it was no problem to us two couples , this is in a very quiet neighbourhood , the garden has the sun most of the day 36 degrees when we where there, shops ,attractions, restaurants, all with reach plenty to do and see.
Overall the house was great so I want to be clear that these criticisms are minor. The house has an awkward layout that takes a bit of getting used to. You enter directly into the master bedroom. It was probably two units made into one. It's fairly narrow and everything leads to the doors that open to the pool and yard. The outside area is lovely although weather didn't allow us to take advantage. If the wind picks up, the pools gets filled of debris and without the pool net around, it can be a little dirty. The decor is very basic,,,Pier one, Ikea...but functional. The front of the house could be more inviting while the back of the house is lovely. Meals or coffee on the outside patio is extremely pleasant as long as the motor of the automatic pool cleaning system doesn't kick on (around 11:30am I believe). Anyway, I recommend the house for a basic but very pleasant stay.
