Our condo is a modern, light, spacious and comfortable urban haven in the hip Dogtown district on the border of Oakland and Emeryville. Five minute drive to Uptown and Downtown Oakland, Bay Bridge and Jack London Square. (Read details about beds -our home is perfect for a family or for a couple and one adult, as our home best accommodates a couple to share a queen, one adult for a comfy full sofa bed, and a third bedroom with toddler beds.)
Our home is a three-level townhouse with three bedrooms and three full baths, and sleeps three adults very comfortably, and four adults if a couch or additional air mattress is involved.
The main level has an open floor plan with a large kitchen that overlooks the dining and living room area, with balcony doors that open onto a small patio with a grill that you're welcome to use. The top floor has a master suite with a queen bed and full bath including an extra deep bathtub. There is also a full bath and second bedroom that we use as a nursery for our 20 month old - there's no bed for adults in there, although we do have a queen sized air mattress that could be used upon request. Of course, if you have a baby, you're welcome to use the crib! (..and the changing table and various toys & baby gear we have on hand!) The ground floor has another full bath and guest room with a full-size pullout bed (comfortable we have learned for one, but not two, adults due to its size) and patio doors to the backyard. Our living room couch is large and can be used comfortably for an adult.
Our unit is in a small gated complex, and faces the courtyard rather than the street. Off-street parking for one small- midsize car is included.

Hello! My husband and I have a new(ish) baby girl and love living in West Oakland. We work in tech and theater and are Bay Area natives. I've used Air BnB a number of times and have been so happy with it - I love to make people feel at home. If you need any advice about where to go while in the neighborhood, please ask!
