As a lover of my community and neighborhood I am happy to show my guests my favorite hikes, biking trails, and direct them to my favorite museums, as well as local restaurants in Bethesda, Potomac and Cabin John. I'd be happy to accompany any solo travels on any of these adventures.
The unit is separate with a locked entrance. Entrance is through double glass french doors that lead to the private basement entrance. Washer and dryer access are available on designated days in the main house.
Parking is in driveway or street. Use of Kymco "Retro" Scooter Negotiable.
This unit is only available Thursday nights through Monday mornings.
This is a non-smoking home. There are two very well behaved boxer mix dogs who are friendly and sociable. The residents may have access to main house on designated days for laundry.
Mature entrepreneur (think Sigourney Weaver), college lecturer and global public health professional with favorite international destinations being Cambodia, Burma and Nepal with most exotic being Papua New Guinea. Has lived in Hawaii, the Virginia country-side, and Miami Beach, however favorite spot on earth is right here in Cabin John where access to hiking, biking, and kayaking is right out my front door and access to culture, theater, live music, cafes are all within 20 minutes. Lives a positive, healthy, wholesome life-style, appreciates and accesses the outdoors, engages with her local neighbors and community, attempts to attend weekly meditation classes, rarely watches television except for Masterpiece programs, Frontline and the PBS Newshour. Cannot live without National Public Radio, my boxer-mix dogs, a good Cabernet, and people who enjoy all of the above.
