Stay in my extremely spacious 2BR apartment in the heart of Chinatown for an unbeatable New York experience.
The main living area is enormous by any standards. There is a ridiculously comfortable 3 piece sectional couch with table for relaxing and lounging with your laptop. The dining room table has 5 chairs and is large enough to spread out on with all of your work if necessary, or to eat a massive meal with friends.
The kitchen is fully stocked with every possible cooking tool (except microwave) which you are free to use if you feel inspired to cook anything from the nearby markets. Everything is full sized (fridge, stove) which is unusual for New York, and there is an expansive and always clear countertop, and a large dining room table.
The bathroom is kept clean and is fully functional. You will have clean sheets and towels to use. There is a laundromat around the corner that does wash and fold service in under 2hrs for $0.70/lb. It's excellent.
We have a small dog that does not shed who is never in the apartment during rentals and is not allowed in bedrooms. Please take note if you are severely allergic to dogs.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests will have free use of everything in the apartment. There is WiFi.
The apartment is only half a story above ground and is easy to access by just a half flight of stairs. It is above a restaurant on a street that can be busy but we have no problems with pests/annoyances due to that proximity.

I may be around some of the time and would be happy to help with local recommendations. You are free to hang out in the main area or keep to yourself as you wish.
We generally do not have many people over or stay up very late. It would be appreciated if you do use the main space particularly late on a weeknight that you respect anyone else who is trying to sleep or needs to work the next day.
This is my real apartment and home that I only rent once in a while, when my roommate or I are out of town. I have been using AirBNB for a long time as a host and a guest and have had a few bad experiences when renting a property that is obviously an illegal hotel or someones ill conceived money making side business. This is not that.
No smoking inside the building, no pets, no children, no large parties. Clean up after yourself. Basic common courtesies. The room you are booking is shown in the photos. Additional guests can not be accommodated on the couch overnight.
I live in Manhattan and own and run I'm 28 and an entrepreneur. I've been an airbnb user and host for my other apt in the East Village and have hosted several people there. I just moved to a sweet new spot in Chinatown and need to list it while I go on vacation coming up.
