We enjoy travel and have used AirBnB in many countries as a way of getting to know the people that make up the place we are visiting. We love the thought of reciprocating and being able to share our beautiful part of the world with you.
Enjoy as little or as much interaction with us as you please. We aim to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Please, no shoes inside.
We are a quiet household with just the 2 of us, we value guests who respect our space and treat it and us well, in the same way you can expect to be treated by us.
Please use the parking space to the left of the garage and not park on the lane.
We love movies, especially relationship movies and action movies. We love family (we have 6 awesome adult children - 3 each and gorgeous 1 year old granddaughter ).
We enjoy food, especially spicy Asian, I (Gary) enjoy experimenting with new foods and recipes. We do a lot of recreational walking in New Zealand and we walked the Camino de Santiago in 2014 (a pilgrimage 800 km across the top of Spain).
We are interested in ordinary people and how they live, and in experiencing different cultures, having travelled quite a bit in Asia and Europe and have visited Israel. We lived for 3 months in the Philippines in 2011 and loved the time there. We have recently been to see our sons in the UK and Canada, taking in San Francisco, NYC and Ireland along the way.
We travel simply and like to get underneath the normal tourist experience.
