The owners occupy the space when not renting the entire house while they are out of town. Every effort is made to clear space in all areas for guests but some items belonging to the owners will be found. Please feel free to use spices in the kitchen, read a book from the bookshelves or play a game from the game cupboards.
The house is home to 2 cats and 2 dogs and every effort has been made to clean and mitigate their impact - there still remains an odor in the basement from the litter box and the door to the basement should be kept closed. I think time and our efforts to use air fresheners in the space has helped lessen it and will continue to do so but those with allergies or sensitivities should be aware. We ask that the house be respected and maintained as it was left. We cherish our home and ask that others do so as well.
The house was built in 1911 and the sewer is about the same age, so please do not flush baby wipes, feminine products, etc... down the toilet.
We are a strict No Smoking household.
Woodstock is a fairly sleepy, family friendly neighborhood. We hope you enjoy the space and are respectful of the proximity of our neighbors and noise at night and early mornings - we really appreciate it. This is a family friendly house and not ideal for parties or loud music.
Please use HE laundry detergent and leave the front door of front loader washer open after washes so that it doesn't mildew.
The garbage disposal has been disabled as our preference is to use the city composting service.
Please remove garbage and dispose of in the outdoor garbage bin upon leaving.
