This cozy and welcoming room in our 19th century New Englander was once a farmhand's apartment. It has its own private walk up entrance (2nd floor), off road parking, four-poster canopy bed, hardwood floors, antique clawfoot tub with handheld shower, and complete kitchen in a rural setting with lots of privacy. We are conveniently located a few minutes from both Rye Beach and down town Market Square in Portsmouth. During the summer months there are nearby farmers markets, plenty of PYO farms, music festivals, art galleries, and of course the beaches and state parks. We have a large backyard and picnic table that many guests enjoy. The area is rich in history and natural beauty. You get the best of the Seacoast without any of the hassle of staying downtown.

We have lived in the Seacoast since the 1970's and will be delighted to share our local insider knowledge of the Seacoast’s hidden gems and world-class options with our guests. David fell in love with the seacoast as a child, surfing, and sailing. Robin originally hails from Brooklyn, New York. We met at an idyllic crafts community in Maine, and have been involved with art, education, and “making stuff” ever since. David is an artist and teacher and works at a private school on the New Hampshire seacoast when he is not sailing or making art. Robin is an artist and counselor with a private practice in Portsmouth.
