Family spot, furnished comfy with books, magazines & games. Walk to the beach. Clean-quiet-well-furnished 4+ bedrooms, & 2 full baths. Sleeps 8 to 10, plus queen sofa bed used when needed. One block from Mirror Lake, shops, dining. A great launch pad for hiking the High Peaks and kayaking many gorgeous lakes. No Smoking; not a 'party house'. We have 3 & 4 night minimum stays in mid-summer (unless a date approaches which remains unbooked, then ask us about 2 nights).
Nice one-hundred year old well-kept home has been in our family for over forty years, and now available to share with others on vacation. The property says "slow down & relax" & "walk, don't drive".
Due to the work involved in preparing a whole house, the minimum winter stay requirement off season is 2 nights, and in the summer months we strive for bookings of at least 4 nights, BUT negotiable if your vacation date approaches yet unbooked. Thank you for understanding.
For you information the per night fee you see is inclusive of New York State's 8% sales tax. Doing our part.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
Unless you need us for something, we trust you to arrive, enter and depart as you wish. We also trust you will pick up, wash your dishes & sort any recyclable trash into labeled bins. Please leave us the bedding and towels to properly clean for our next guests.
Clean linens are on all beds, and the towels are for your use as well as soaps. We do not offer cleaning or linen services during your short stay. There is a washer & dryer on site if needed. Mattresses are enclosed with protective covers.
There is a charcoal grill for your careful use, which is under cover should rain happen. Move adequately away from the house when using it.
No smoking in or on the property. We will consider a well-managed dog with prior approval (no cats allowed because many people have allergies to kitties).
My spouse and I are parents of two kids out of college; enjoy many hobbies like gardening, yoga, painting, and staying in touch with family and friends. Husband Andrew's main hobbies are music, biking and hiking and he also keeps busy working on our funky old homes in Vermont and Lake Placid. Either of us are most happy to work with you.
