Perfect location for exploring the historical old town of Edinburgh.
My apartment is a super central base for solo travellers.
It is a place of positive energy, eclectic style, calm and comfort, in the heart of the atmospheric and historical old town of Edinburgh and a mere 15 minutes walk from Waverly rail station.
I want you to feel safe and relaxed during your stay and to make it your little home from home, even if only for one night.
I'm offering you a spacious, sunny and stylish room, with a get-away-from-it-all 'Tropical' theme.
You can also enjoy 'High-Speed Wifi, a super comfortable 'Memory Foam' mattress, 'Quality Egyptian cotton sheets' and a head and neck-supporting memory foam pillow - things to look forward to after a tiring day exploring.
My neighbourhood is littered with numerous cafes and restaurants to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. I invite you to leave your comfy room and to go out and take advantage of these eating places during your stay. This said, my little galley kitchen (1950s American Diner theme) is available should you wish to sit and enjoy a cuppa and/or a snack.
I'm also offering you a bright, clean and fresh bathroom with a Power Shower over a white suite bath and clean, cotton bath-towels for your use. I, of course, also use the bathroom. No other guests stay in the apartment.
If my place sounds ideal, then before you book my room I ask that you please read the house rules and be sure that my place is a good fit for your needs. Please be sure also to tell me a little about yourself and why you are visiting Edinburgh.
Due to my Music Recording Studio commitments ( I have sessions booked between 1:30 and 5:30pm, check-in is currently at 1pm (dead on) or between 6pm and 10pm. The good news is that should you arrive earlier in the day there is a left-luggage facility at either Waverly rail station - a mere 15 minutes walk from the apartment, or, cheaper still, Edinburgh Bus Station, located in St. Andrew's Square - a mere 5 minutes walk from Waverly.
I look forward to sharing my colourful little apartment with you.

I respect and afford privacy and am also happy to chat.
The wonderful green spaces of both Holyrood Park (containing Arthur's Seat) and The Meadows are short walks from the apartment, as is the Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool, with an Olympic size main pool.
Strictly no-smoking. This also applies to the communal landing and stairwell of the building.
Please clean up after yourself in the bathroom and kitchen. In particular, guests are asked to clean up the bathroom after a shower, ensuring that the shower/bath area is rinsed clean of deposits and hair. Thank you.
Check-out is by 10am. My cleaner arrives shortly after this time to see to your room.
Please come and go quietly from the building in order not to disturb the neighbors.
Overnight visitors not permitted.
The bedroom is your private space and home from home. Enjoy it, but please keep it in good order and the floor area free of potential trip-hazards such as large luggage. Thank you.
I'm a well-travelled, non-smoking, vegetarian and 'Man Of The World'. I have experienced and enjoyed living in other countries, including the USA, where for a time New York was my home.
I have been fortunate in my professional working life to have experienced diversity and variety and feel blessed and privileged to be involved in Music Production.
But for me life is a continuing journey of change and exploration and so these past few years have seen me transform my life from a hectic, and at times stressful one into a less cluttered and simple one.
In the Fall of 2014 I tried on the hat of an Airbnb host for the first time.
The idea of sharing my space with a diverse range of people from all over our little planet seemed exciting way back then and has since proved to be more rewarding than I could have imagined.
My little home is a place of positive energy, trust, smiles, comfort and calm.
I ask only of my guests to leave negative energy, suspicion, mistrust and fear outside my front door.
