Rest, re-set, and explore on an organic fruit tree and lavender farm beside the Embudo River. Enjoy a comfortable and private stay.

As of July 1, 2020 - Due to the coronavirus and NM quarantine regulations, we are happy to welcome New Mexico residents for stays under 14 days. Out of state travelers are required to provide proof of 14-day quarantine.

We are taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Self-check-in and check-out are preferred.

Le logement
The kitchen has a gas stove, full refrigerator and is stocked with organic olive oil, organic coffee, filters, sugar, honey, salt, pepper, and lots of spices; cookware, dishes, utensils, a coffee maker, french press, crockpot, nutri-bullet mixer, etc.

Washer/dryer and outdoor clothesline with eco-friendly laundry detergent. We provide soaps, shampoo, conditioner.

A queen bed with quality linens and extra blankets for cold desert nights. We provide a space heater and air conditioning for your comfort.

While cell service is available here, it can be spotty. Verizon seems better than AT&T. Wifi is provided as well as a (shared) landline you are welcome to use.
This casita and surrounding land holds a very healing and unique space and opportunity for restoration, especially for couples.

Accès des voyageurs
The casita is private and separate from other guest areas. Listen to the river and enjoy the patio. Walk to the river's edge and spend some time watching the birds and the red-rock vistas. Meander through the fruit and lavender orchards - if you visit during a harvest, pick peaches, apples, grapes, apricots and pears for breakfast.

Autres points à prendre en note
Our separate event space on the property can accommodate a wide variety of needs. Ask us about bringing your workshop, guest retreat or class here. During your stay, we are happy to give you a tour of the theater, gallery/workshop space and commercial kitchen as long as it is unoccupied and we are able to arrange our schedules.

I revel in wild and remote beauty, travel, humor, and the human heart. I enjoy creating a welcoming and safe space for travelers. I am a Wilderness Guide, Artist, Trauma Therapist and an international firewalk facilitator - meaning part of my mission has been to help others walk through the inner landscape of self, face the fires of fear and meet the heart's longing with love. It has also been my call and honor to lead vision fast/quest and rites of passage. For fun, I paint, write poetry and explore remote wild places.

Durant votre séjour
We will make ourselves available to guests as little or as much as they would like. Guests can always ask us for recommendations of restaurants, sites to visit and wilderness adventures.

If we happen to be away, we will be reachable by phone/text/email and will respond to communications in a timely and courteous manner. Caretakers are on site and available to respond as well.

If we are available and able we would be happy to serve breakfast. Ask us about creating an organic breakfast delivered to the casita during your stay, for an additional fee ($15 per person). We understand and happily accommodate most dietary considerations.
Some options are grain-free blueberry pancakes with bacon and Vermont maple syrup; vegetable omelets with grain-free or gluten-free roll or toast; Coconut yogurt with fresh fruit, seeds, and nuts; Eggs of the day served in a cast-iron skillet with your choice of available sides.
