We heat the house with a gas heater that keeps the whole house warm, Evan got the wood burning stove for his smoker. There is an extra bathroom, sauna room and W/D available for guests. Evan loves to cook, to prepare (his version) latte coffee and Spanish chorizos. You can have a taste of the country, participate in dinners and musical gatherings, pick eggs and fruits or just sit back and relax by the creek, fish, mountain bike or go on nature walks and hikes. Whatever you decide to do we are sure this will be a memorable experience that will bring you closer to nature and you will return relaxed and renovated.

We can help you with information about the area or transportation to town if needed. We are also willing to share our knowledge and experience on small scale farming, gardening, farm animals, food preservation, carpentry projects, or just good conversation, food and healthy living. Most weekends we have Sunday dinners with neighbors and music entertainment.
We have 5 rescue dogs that are always around and are very playful, they are good guard dogs and they might bark at night so you must like dogs. We also have 2 very friendly cats, loud donkeys and roosters. the dogs and cats hang around, sometimes in the house or by the table (which can be annoying at times), even and old rooster runs trough the house sometimes, most of the times it is only one of us at the farm and between the animals, Evan's cooking and daily farm chores it is hard for us to keep an extremely tidy place at all times, we love our animals and we are sure you will too, all these is part of farm life for us and if you will get to experience it minus the work!.
Ours is a non-smoking environment and alcoholic beverages are limited, lights off at 11 pm as work days start early with the roosters!.

We are a working farm, we love to work in the garden and to take care of the animals, we presently have two donkeys, one goat, about 12 hens and a couple of roosters, guinea hens, ducks, 5 dogs and 2 cats. We also enjoy relaxing, hiking and spending time in the sauna or fishing in the creek. I Rocio(Rose) like yoga and painting, Evaristo(Evan) loves to cook and carpentry projects. The ranch is rustic and cozy, we have room A/C if it gets too hot and during the winter we stay warm with a wood burning stove and space heaters. We often take turns traveling abroad, I often do volunteer work in SouthAmerica. Evan came from Spain and I was born in Ecuador, Evan lived many years in NY and FL and I also lived in NY and FL, I still keep a part time job there. Most weeks we have Farm Events, Health talks, Painting gatherings or just Sunday dinners with neighbors, which sometimes involve music.
