Our fun & sun-filled loft has a private entrance & a newly remodeled kitchen, a bathroom with shower/tub, a queen, a twin & a small sofa bed, a BBQ & an outdoor dining table + an indoor swing. Just blocks from the university & historic downtown.

And, if you ever need a bigger space, we rent out our main home (5 beds: sleeps 9+) when we travel. Look for the Montana Mtn Villa on AirBnB for details.

We have a Bozeman city short term rental license (BCA-11644) so we are all set there too!

Le logement
We like to think of our home as very comfortable and fun. There is a red wooden swing in the middle of the loft, lots of Montana guide books, bikes to borrow plus cozy "Lawson's Loft" terry cloth robes to relax in while visiting.

The loft is stocked with spices and kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plus you have access to an outdoor grill. We have bikes you may use too - just ask.

We have been hosting guests in the Loft for several years now, and have had nothing but wonderful visitors and good experiences. Everyone has been thoughtful, clean and easy to communicate with, so we have never had a reason to keep a penny of a deposit, or give any guest less than a 5 star review.

When you depart, we welcome suggestions for how to make your next stay with us even better!

Bozeman, Montana, États-Unis

The Southside of Bozeman is the main historic district. It is composed of safe, and friendly neighborhoods lined with mature trees, and an eclectic array of architecture. From our home, it is only a few minute walk to MSU, a short bike ride or walk to the historic downtown. And just two blocks from our home is Bozeman's Southside Park, with a play ground for kids, plus tennis/pickle ball courts, and in the winter, an ice skating rink.

We found our home with a promise of rhubarb pies . . . Here is the back story to that rather strange sounding statement. My husband is from Alaska but went to dental school in San Francisco, where we met. He knew he had to get back to the mountains - so we spent the late 1990's searching for our "forever" college/mountain town. Our first visit to Bozeman and we knew it would be our future community - but the search for the "forever" home proved more difficult. Eventually, we placed notes on the doors of our favorite Bozeman homes, promising 20 years of rhubarb pies to anyone who led us to our forever home. Jane, the sweet grandmother who owned this 1920's former sorority house responded, saying she had a rhubarb plant in the backyard and wanted to sell to a young family who would take good care of the place - and the rest is history. The summer of 2020 we will deliver our 20th rhubarb pie to Jane! Here are a few other details you might want to know about your potential host (Website hidden by Airbnb) taught culture related courses (e.g. "The Cultural Dimensions of International Business" & "Film, Photos & Culture: A Global Perspective") at Montana State University for about 15 years until I retired in 2020. My husband, Scott, daughter, Sumner and I were part-time ski instructors at Big Sky in the past, but now just ski for fun. Scott is an avid bike rider, and even completed the 2,500+ mile "Great Divide Mountain Bike Ride" in the fall of 2016. Which means he rode from Banff, Canada to Mexico, on a mountain bike. He did it over a series of week-long segments - camping out along the way. When he is not riding he works doing dentistry here in Bozeman. Sumner studied "Global Health & Education" at Colorado College, and graduated in 2018. She nordic and Alpine skis, runs and climbs and is applying to medical school. Our dog, Buji, is a Portuguese Water Dog. He is very friendly - but a bit of food thief . . . so if you choose to let him up into the Loft - beware! We are looking forward to hosting you, and hope you have a great experience here in Bozeman!

Durant votre séjour

We try to be here to welcome you and help you get situated, but if you arrive when we are not here, or if you'd simply rather just check in yourself, you are welcome to do so . . .

To self-check in simply park on the right side of the driveway off 4th street, walk down the lighted alley and go through the gate, up the short set to steps and in to the door on the left. It should be unlocked if we are expecting you, and the code to lock it when you leave, if you wish to, will be upstairs in the "Bee Book." If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to text us, or call or just knock on our door. Thanks and enjoy your stay!
