Our comfortable 3-story, 5BR/3BA townhouse can accommodate 5+ and is located just 1/2 block from the Peabody Museum and Yale Management School. It features an updated kitchen, an outdoor patio, and easy access to bus lines and bike routes.

Le logement

The location of the townhouse is absolutely perfect, near downtown but quiet, near Peabody Museum, Yale Management School and campus, easy walking/biking distance to downtown. The house is ideal for families or couples traveling together.

Guests have access to a galley kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry in basement, and back garden patio area.

We live nearby but not in the house, so can generally be available if needed.

The neighborhood is safe, and there is a steady flow of pedestrian traffic. Beautiful large houses on the block are well landscaped and views are lovely.

Public transit is very easy - buses run in both directions (to and from downtown) 1/2 block away. There is a bike lane on the street.

Parking is on-street, and residential permits are required. We will have guest permits available if needed.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

We generally don't interact very much with guests except to give them a tour, keys, and some general information. We like to give guests their privacy and independence. We live one mile from the townhouse and close if any problems come up.

Perfect location for my sister and me attending a conference at Yale, the property is located right next door to Science Hill. We were very warmly welcomed by Coleen - she had to wait a long time, as we got there late due to heavy traffic. Her explanations were precise and abundant, just so we could feel right at home on our arrival. The house is lovely, very spacious and charming, has a lot of character and we loved it. The neighborhood is quiet with a lovely scenery

My reservation with Ann was my first experience with AirBnB and honestly, I can't imagine it having gone any better. She remained in-touch in the days leading up to my party's arrival in New Haven and was accommodating and courteous throughout, even when our arrival was delayed > 3 hours. She went above and beyond in every way, even going so far as to (a) offer to stock the house with food/beverage items, and (b) stocking the house with food/beverage items, even after I responded to say no such things were necessary. Everything was splendid. The house is amazing: It's huge and spacious and strikes a perfect balance between old-style charm and modern convenience. Everything was furnished: Beds were made, towels were provided and fresh, etc., and overall, we were never in a situation where we needed something we didn't have. The neighborhood is also very nice: It's in the middle of a collection of very New England-style homes and duplexes, only a few blocks away from the heart of Yale and the "college town" part of New Haven, and everything was quiet and peaceful and enjoyable. The purpose of our trip to New Haven was business-related and so most of our days were spent at Yale. Honestly, though: I'd *love* to visit New Haven again, and if I did, I'd insist on staying in Ann's house provided it was available. I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience.
