Our home is an open design of kitchen, dining, and living areas built in 1993. With all modern appliances and many windows the home is sunny, comfortable, and extremely private on 3.6 acres of wooded land.
Our house sits on a large (3.6 acre) parcel of land entirely surrounded by a green grass lawn which gives way into deep woods. The house itself is constructed with natural wood and many windows which permit sunlight to fill the rooms and provide excellent views of the grounds.
On the main floor you will enter through a welcoming room with a closet for your outerwear and foot gear. This leads into the kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter top. From the kitchen you will immediately notice the open design of our home. Passing through the dining room you will enter the living room complete with brick fireplace, television, back porch, and view of the backyard. Additionally located on the first floor is the master bedroom and full downstairs bathroom.
Up the stairs is the second floor bedrooms and full second floor bathroom. All three rooms have skylights in them with a view of the night sky.
We have extra room for relaxing or an optional bedroom in the furnished basement which remains cool in the day and has its own door to the backyard. Washer and dryer are down here too!
Surrounding the house as I mentioned is a full 360 degrees of green grass lawn. Outdoor furniture allows for meals outside or cold beverages. We have an outdoor shower which can be quite nice when returning from the spectacular town beaches located just up the road.

Included in the rental is the private town beach rights ONLY available to people renting in the town of Chilmark. Take proof of rental to the Town Hall and get your beach passes.
