Your private feedback was interesting to read. I've never had any complaints about the kayaks or bicycles, however, I will certainly now change my description and suggest to future guests if they are wanting to tour alot on bicycle, they should bring their bikes, as mine are more for cruising. Although mine, that I let you use is great for both. The drawer in the desk had a lot of brochures for places to go and things to do and some menus. Menus change frequently, therefore I don't keep me in the bungalow. However, I do purposely spend some time early on with guests to see if I can answer any questions or make suggestions, as I did with you. In addition, my four page instruction pamphlet has many restaurants listed. Typically, these days, guests (Hidden by Airbnb) restaurants for their current menu. There was a cutting board, but, you didn't see it. I looked after you left and found it right where it always was, underneath the hand mitten style pot holder inside the room. There was also a hot plate there. Most guests say they feel they get a lot of bang for their buck and much more than they expected for $85.00. The addition of another plug in the room is a good suggestion and I will definitely do that, although there are currently 3 there. On another note, I was hurried when I left your review and failed to tell you that I've rarely had guests that spoke as loudly as you two did and you were here alot. Your voices could be heard all over as well as your phone conversations on speaker phone on the veranda. You left the pot and pan shelf in the kitchen cart in disarray. The description for the Sweet Bungalow reads "small meals only". Maybe I need to define that more, however, I try not to set limitations. Many guests have cooked very elaborate meals on what's available and do just fine. In fact, some repeat guests are coming soon for 3 weeks and will cook elaborate dinners nightly. They build fires in the fire pit and blend drinks to sip in front of it. I'm truly sorry you weren't pleased, however, I do appreciate you being honest with and reminded me that I need to do the same.
Hope your trip home was safe and you got to see the manatees you wanted to see.
