A spacious lovingly decorated suite with a Rajasthani flair in a beautiful Portuguese style villa, surrounded by lush greenery. It is for guests who appreciate beauty and peace.

Le logement
This suite, which is also called the Rajasthani Suite, is decorated in a blend of beautiful rajasthani details and a contemporary cane divan set, placed on a traditional Portuguese tile flooring. The split level leads you up to the king size bed, discreetly separated from the living area by a carved partition. From there you pass through an antique elaborate brass door, to enter the royal bathroom, with its large sunken bath and mosaic tile work. You also have your own private porch and little garden surrounding it.
The room has TataSky TV to keep you informed and entertained, and is air conditioned to keep you cool.
A third guest can be accommodated on the divan of the sitting area for an extra charge (Please contact us for details).
The Rajasthani Suite is the most romantic option in the Marbella Guest House, a beautiful Portuguese style mansion, where attention was paid to every detail. It is lovingly designed and decorated with an aesthetic blend of colonial Portuguese, traditional Indian and contemporary furniture.
The Villa is surrounded by lush greenery, it is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourism trade, yet conveniently close to all amenities.
When the building’s reconstruction was finished in 1987 it would have definitely been the first boutique establishment in Goa, but the term had yet to be coined.

Marbella Guest House is the last house at the end of a quiet lane passing through Sinquerim village. Beyond and around us is forest and orchard land leading to the headlands, where you can enjoy the sunset from the rocks overlooking the Arabian Sea. The 16th century Fort Aguada with its lighthouse, guarding the mouth of the Mandovi river, is also just a few more minutes walk away.
The beach begins about a ten minute walk back through the village, and then stretches 7km to Baga. There are plenty of beach shacks offering food and drinks and loungers to sunbathe on, and water sports are also available.
It also takes only about ten minutes to what we like to call the strip, the road parallel to the beach, filled with shops, restaurants and a variety of other businesses.

Hi, My name is Dian. I settled down in Goa and bought this house in 1985 after already having developed a love for the place on previous childhood visits, when my German mother made sure I remained in touch with my Indian ancestry. After two years of intense renovation the place was finally ready to accommodate the first guests. After a couple of years I decided to lease another house just ten minutes down the road to live in, where my love for music didn’t compromise my visitors need for peace. In 2005 I met the love of my life, Susan. She had been coming down from England regularly since 1993 and already felt at home in Goa. We married, and Our Guest House soon became her baby, adding her love for decoration to it. We have a friendly team of ten taking care of the six rooms, some of them having been with us over 20 years. Susan regularly checks that everything is perfect, leaving me to more occasional visits, and plenty of time for my guitar. Hoping to welcome you soon to lovely Goa, Bye, Dian
