Come experience the best of N/NE Portland.
Guests will have access to their own laundry, two queen beds (one in the bedroom and another comfortable fold out in the living room),
fresh linens, ample storage space, a small backyard, a trampoline (if you sign a waiver ;-) and all the stuff listed above. Lots of street parking for those with a car.
We are a family of 5 committed to your privacy and helping you create an enjoyable stay in Portland. Feel free to ask us for recommendations, directions, or just about anything. We love meeting new people and are happy to be of service.
We are located in the Historic Humbolt neighborhood: (website hidden)
Tons of great local food, shopping, farmers' market and parks.
We are three houses from Peninsula Park, which is home to the original rose garden of Portland. It's really a special park with huge trees and grassy fields for sports and romping, public basketball and tennis courts, walking/running path around the park, big playground for kids (and the young at heart) and a great community center with a summer outdoor swimming pool.
It's the main reason we moved to this part of town:
Were a short walk to the Mississippi district:
Our home is located 5 blocks from the MAX Red Line stop, two blocks from the closest bus stop and 8 blocks from New Seasons (natural grocers). We are a short walk to the Mississippi district and a mile from the Alberta Arts area. We are a 15 minute drive to the airport and 5-10 minutes to downtown Portland. We have an I-5 freeway entrance 7 blocks from our house.
We have children ages 11, 9 and 6... there will occasionally be a bike/skateboard/scooter lying about.
Have a great time!!
Make music, make merry, go explore.
Ask us for help if you need it.
No pets and no smoking inside the house, please.
I am originally a Kentucky girl, drawn to the wild green forests and creative energy of the pacific northwest, and now happily settled in Portland with my family. I am the mama of three beautiful and creative children, ages 11, 9, and 6, with whom I spend my time exploring, playing, and constantly learning. I love hostessing, singing and dancing, connecting with and being of service to people, and playing with my kids and husband, who tours the country with his band The Motet.
