ENGLISH TRANSLATION FROM FRENCH: Paul is a very friendly host who provided us with a warm welcome, a tour of the B&B, and even provided us with an aperitif during his overview of the history of Natchez and the [Clifton Heights] neighborhood. He showed us to our room, which was upscale, well furnished, and included a mini bar with refrigerator. Private, off-street parking (behind the B&B) is provided. The house and rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated with taste. The common rooms and veranda are large and comfortable -- with a well-appointed kitchen. Magazines and tourist brochures are provided to guests -- and Paul provided guidance as to which attractions we could best fit in to make our two-night stay as enjoyable as possible. This charming, [1880s] house is very well located, and downtown Natchez can be reached easily on foot by following the Bluff Path, which overlooks the Mississippi River -- a lovely promenade for a late-afternoon stroll. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection of dishes, tastefully chosen (eg. Bonne Maman jam). Our stay at Paul was only our fifth accommodation using AirBnb, but by far the best on all levels -- and quite advisably a very good place to stay. Thank you, Paul, for your excellent, enjoyable hosting and, if we have the opportunity, we will return with pleasure.
