We take our guests ratings seriously as we endeavor to provide our guests with a pleasant, relaxing and unforgettable stay in Salina. Any feedback provided by our guests is important to us to improve the quality of our hospitality.
Nevertheless, we feel it necessary to reply to some negative ratings provided by one of our guests. After careful consideration, we feel that some of the criticisms were unfair and do not properly reflect the beauty and experience of Casa del Nespolo.
We were disappointed to read that our guest provided a low rating for cleanliness. We found this assessment particularly surprising seeing that the Casa had been cleaned shortly before our guest moved in. Prior to the arrival of each of our guests, our properties are thoroughly cleaned by our trusted cleaner. Never before had we received any complaint from our guests as to their cleanliness. Nevertheless, we will take the rating into account and double our efforts to make sure the Casa del Nespolo is spotless.
We also received a private complaint regarding problems with check-in, which we believe is unfair. We strive to be transparent with our guests, and as such, the entry on AirBnB clearly states that check-in begins early afternoon. This is to ensure that any existing guests have time to prepare properly for their departure and for the Casa to be properly cleaned and prepared for our new guests. Unfortunately, when our guest arrived in Salina at 9am in the morning, he was expecting to move in immediately. Unfortunately, we could not accommodate his wishes so as not to disturb the departing guests. We did however offer to safely store his bags so that he could visit the Salina in the early morning light.
Finally, regarding the quality of the wifi connection. Contrary to a comment by our guest, wifi is available at Casa del Nespolo. However, it does not cover every room nor is it transmitted with a strong signal. The Casa del Nespolo is located in a rural area of Salina which blesses the Casa with tranquility and beautiful views. However, it may mean that the technological commodities we are used to today, may not be as abundant as one would like. The wifi signal is not as strong and consistent as one may be used to in more developed urban areas. Nevertheless, we are considering various technological solutions which may improve the quality of the signal.
As one should always take the good with the bad, we will take into careful consideration the suggestions provide by our guest, so that we may offer an improved service to future guests.
