Le logement
This two-story split-level home is all hardwood floors and offers plenty of space for your group!

At the top of the stairs you turn right into the rec room with a large leather sectional. The open concept design leads right into the large farmhouse table with seating for 8. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and everything you need to cook! The upstairs common areas walkout onto the deck and have beautiful views of the lake.

The 4-bedrooms are neat and clean. The Master has a King and private Master bath with a stand-alone shower and soaking tub. The kids bunk room is located beside the Master and has 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) and a small dresser. The other upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed and a great view of the side yard and lake.

The downstairs in-law suite has a Queen bed with a walk-out to the patio and offers privacy as there’s also a half bath downstairs. The downstairs also has a 2nd rec room with a desk and ping pong table as well as a laundry room and kitchenette with a small refrigerator.

The outdoor fire pit is just beyond the patio and the large side yard is full of trees. Make sure the kids' bring their bikes! We're at the end of a no outlet road and there's plenty of space to bike without traffic!

Things to do in the Treasure Lake Community:
1. Head to the community pool to enjoy swimming in the new large pool with a waterslide! The pool is a 4 minute drive from the house. While there you can get quick meals, snacks, or ice cream at Pirate's Cove. Tennis courts are right beside the pool.
2. Check out the many beaches throughout the community: 2 on Treasure Lake and 1 on Bimini Lake. Some beaches have sand volleyball courts and playgrounds too!
3. Head over to Little Flipper lake (about 5 mins from the house) and enjoy the kid-friendly nature trail around the small lake or fish in this smaller catch and release fishing pond. This pond is great for children and seniors!
4. All three lakes are stocked for the fisherman in your group too. About 30’ from our dock is a ledge and it’s some of the best fishing on the entire lake! Just make sure you have a fishing license (available at the marina).
5. Treasure Lake has two wonderfully maintained golf courses, which both also have small restaurants at the clubhouse for everyone to meet up for a drink or a meal after golfing. My husband is an avid golfer and he’s impressed by these courses!

Things to do in the area:
-Elk Country is about a 45 minute drive away. Visit the visitor center and walk on the short walking paths with the family and enjoy the beautiful Pennsylvania Wilds scenery. The visitors' center is full of information on the Elk and the area where they roam. While there, enjoy a wagon ride around the property and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife while you ride. The horses that pull the wagon are gorgeous animals and all of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Before heading home, go to Winslow Hill for more breathtaking views of the area and an even better chance to see the elk.

-Cook Forest is also the perfect day trip for the family where there is something for everyone! Here you can enjoy hiking trails, horse back riding, and picturesque views of nature.

-Bilger’s rocks - Bilger's Rocks is a super cool natural area in Clearfield County featuring sandstone formations and recreational areas, including caves, cliffs, passageways, climbing routes and more.

-Penn State is so close! Come stay and enjoy a sporting event or a concert at the Bryce Jordan Center. We live in State College and it’s a very easy 1:15 minute drive right down I-80.

The town of DuBois is a quaint little area with restaurants, grocery stores, or a few small shops.

Don’t feel like cooking? Luigi’s is a very authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant. The sauce is to die for! We also love Station 101 pub which is very close to the community entrance. We also enjoy take out or a laid back dinner at Duffer’s Tavern located in the community.

Come enjoy the snow and ice fishing once the lake freezes or cozy up by the fire and watch the winter wonderland. Dubois is one of the highest points on I-80 and get a lot of snow.
